Shireroth

Unless you're from Kildare, of course. Jonas is already making a map for them, so I thought I'd stick to Benacia.

This is the new official Ministry of the Interior map of western Shireroth I promised. Click on it for the larger version. I may incorporate some of the smaller cities of each subdivision into the map later. I'm just worried that it will be uneven since only a few subdivisions have made internal maps. If you rule a subdivision on Benacia, and you have a zoomed up map of it, please link me to it.

If I were to sell color posters of this map for $20/EUR12/£10 plus shipping, how many people would want one?

Ask me when all of Shireroth is mapped. Then put it all together into a large poster or two.. and I'll buy it when I'm not broke.

Maybe extend it to include Yardistan, then it would be the right proportions for a full size poster.

Dr. Spangle: I'd use CafePress. They have a couple of options, and they probably ship to UK.

Both the preview and the full-scale version have been updated to include Yardistan. Bloody stupid map wasn't in a format that allowed adding onto it easily, but I think I beat it into submission and it should look pretty seamless. The Minister of the Interior had better get a really cushy salary and lots of perks.

I don't really know where to go from here, though. I don't really want to add Naudia'Diva because that would almost double the size of the map to show only a miniscule amount more of Shirerothian territory. And I'm not sure if I should add Kildare, because number one Jonas is doing his own map, and number two that would make the file HUGE and maybe hard to load. It would also involve a lot of ocean and non-Shireroth territory. And then there are all those islands like Norfolk and Melangia to the east that I'd have to do something about.

If you're interested in a poster, are you satisfied with this Benacia view, or can you suggest something better?

It's maybe better for the size that the map of Kildare isn't with Benacia on the same picture.

I'd like to see all of Shireroth on one map with one format. This would be absolutely awesome! I think almost all of us would like to have one of those, not piecemeal maps of various areas.

Insets like U.S. maps that include Hawaii?

Wow, this is just amazing. I'm very impressed, stunned... I can imagine myself standing there at the Elwynn Mounts looking over Benacia (I doubt you'd see _that_ far, but still )

Preview and main map updated to include a not-very-seamlessly-merged Kildare.
Next phase is the Hawaii-style insets and possibly Straylight, if my sanity makes it that far.
