Shireroth

Does anyone have any suggestions for Music and/or pictures for my Shirerithian Promotional Video? Hasan said I could do it, so I am asking for anybody's help, except the emoticon

I don't really know... I will see if I have something...

Here is the graphics link from the wiki

You could find the anthem.. it's a midi though...

Something epic .. maybe the first song from Symphony X's last album

The anthem: http://www.shireroth.org/anthem.mid

I was thinking of something more contemporary. Something which represents Shireroth well, and sticks in your mind. My original choice was "Atlantis" by Donovan because its a hilarious epic song. Unfortunately, because it's about Atlantis and not Shireroth, I declined to use it.

Your Niftiness,
I would disapprove taking a new national hymn. It's a part of the nation, you can't change it because you are from the opinion that another song sounds better!

But who am I?

Sorry, messed that up. My song suggestion was for Jess' video, not as a new anthem.

Ow! That explains a lot! Okay, no problem

I like non mainstream music myself... Stuff not many will actually know.. plus I based some stuff in Shireroth OFF Symphony X songs...in one case an entire album influenced things. Symphony X- V: The New Mythology Suite.. or something like that... awesome album....

I'll try to download it just to get an idea.

It itself takes from Atlanian, Egyptian and other mythologies. And combined with other sources had influence on the Casmodan stuff in the histories.

Sounds neat. I should specify though, that the primary purpose for the video is basically promotion and propaganda. When I did one for Babkha I used "Sympathy For The Devil" as it seemed most appropriate.

Using a well known, contemporary and appropriate song was my original aim, simply because of the marketing concept that the viewer of the video will then associate the images seen in it, with the song whenever its played.

Good point.

So.. what would fit for Shireroth.. "Comfortably Numb"?

"We all live in a Yellow Submarine"

"Hasan in the Skies with Zircons"

My first MN parodied "Dawning of the Age of Aquarius", but that's a very looong story.......'g'night all...............

(head falls to chest. Light snoring.)

We all live in a Yellow Twinkie. ...ahh.. good times that was.

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ...?

boring...beatles..
