A clattering coach drives through the deep dark forest.
Hello, Shireroth,
I'm Rudolf Höhnli, people's commissar of foreign affairs of the socialistic USSRAT. My comrades are laying heads together at present if we join micra. The USSRATis a german-speaking socialistic micronation. USSRAT is the shortcuts of "Unabhängige Sowjetrepublik am Tierpark" and means "Autonomous Socialism Soviet Republic at the Zoo". It's a small country, but we've got stout citizen.
The big chairperson, Comrade Hirschie, our leader, told me to fly out to find new partners and new inputs. And I found you! Unfortunately you aren't communistic. But noboty is perfect. I hope we get into conversation with us nevertheless.
To getting a first overview you should cast one's eyes over our presentation:
http://mnussrat.funpic.org
If you follow the links, you will come on a link to our citizen forum which is translated by capitalistic google. It's not perfect but maybe it gives you a impression of our culture.
I were very pleased if I could contact you for a first exploratory talk.
socialism greetings,
Rudolf Höhnli

Ja gut! Ich wiess auf nur eine andere deutsche Micronation, Tir Na Nog, und ich soll deutsch mehr üben. Willkommen!
That was probably terrible German, again, I need practice. But again, welcome. I'll be sure to come by. I've noticed you on Toketi as well. Good choice, we have many German speakers.

I have registered in your forum.
It calls me a counter-revolutionary!?
Or is that what all foreigners are called at first?

Correctly. All new people are called in this way. They start as a revolutionary and raising later. The ranks due to the wisdom of our great chairleader comrade Hirschie. I set an other suitable rank on foot. We wont frighten the happy few who visit our great socialistic republic.

Bartering trade would suit Shireroth well (and even better when you actually get MCS land). I'm the Minister for Trade. I'll get back to you when I've got approval for the system I'm currently proposing for trade ...

Be careful of the trees. One of our semi-mystical "leaders" is a tree demon.
All Hail Malarbor!

We could definitely do with more metal, though to do trade properly you really need to be on MCS and use the resources of your land there ... try to claim an area that has metal ....

Well, since USSRAT's forums won't let me post the treaty, I'll post it here...
TREATY OF HIRSCHIEGRAD
WHEREAS the two countries of the IMPERIAL REPUBLIC OF SHIREROTH and the AUTONOMOUS SOCIALIST SOVIET REPUBLIC AT THE ZOO, having come into contact with one another and and finding their interests to be coincident, do desire to formalize and secure their cordial feelings, they do agree:
FIRST, that each recognize the other as a sovereign and independent country, possessed of all the rights entailed thereby
SECOND, that both countries commit to resolve all mutual disputes peacefully, using a neutral third party agreed to by both should this prove impossible by normal channels
THIRD, that both countries shall remain open and accessible to tourists and other visitors from one another, barring national emergencies or other such security issues
FOURTH, that both recognize one another as the rightful owner of all territory, real and imaginary, that they claim.
FIFTH, that proper channels of communication shall be opened between them, so as to facilitate dialogue and future cooperation.
SIXTH, USSRAT shall never participate in an attack upon the holdings of Shireroth.
