Blackmailing is not the way forward, sir. Let's have a jolly good war on the Mortian Succession instead

OK, I withdraw #279. Let it be as it never was.
Excuse me a moment, while I edit
To answer the question, well, I hadn't planned on it..
OOC:
I'm on this work trip, and the Kaiser is assassinated. I suppose that I let my frustration with several different personal situations bleed over into Shireroth. For that, I apologize to anyone I insulted.
Jacobus' character has been changing over the last year or so into one much more reflective of who "I" perceive myself to be. I deliberately let him be a bastard SOB in his former life, as he needed to survive in a very rough environment. Shireroth is not that environment.
I let him make knee-jerk decisions, when he did not need to so.
I wanted to avert the possibility of a Civil War so close to the last one. I perceived the rival claimant as only slightly more serious than M. Penisberg, as he did not qualify.
(Sliding back into character.)
My adversaries renounciation of Babkhan citizenship changes the picture, indeed.
As Kaiser Loki II, I desire to play my hand to the utmost.
As just plain Jacobus, I wonder, do we Shirerithians want to choose between a very-recent Babkhan, as opposed to a relatively recent Cyberian? Does the House of Raynor have no one ready to wield the Sword of Unity?
We need to fight Democracy in all of its forms, but Shirerithians are ruled by their acquiescence, not by fear. I feel a poll coming on...........

We need to fight Democracy in all of its forms
Only in Shireroth would a contender for the post of Head of State say that so openly and still be confident of their chances. Ho-hum.
*runs off into the sunset giggling manically*

Yes, we can't have democracy, but the Kaiser does need popular support ...

And the Sword of Vengeance, which is currently being protected...elsewhere, until a Kaiser can be confirmed.

I've had Shirerothian citizenship on and off since 2001. There is nothing recent about me LOL.

May I ask, sir, under which other names you held Shirerithian citizenry? I have only been a member since 2005, and was gone for most of that year. I would remember names from around that time, however.

I was actually on an LOA for a couple of years (which is why my citizenship was dropped) but I was around quite a bit. I held citizenship under my Babkhan name every time I've had Shirerothian citizenship.

Then you must have left before I came. Thank you. I'm sorry I didn't get to know you then. I was under the mistaken impression that you were new here. I apologize for my incorrect assumptions about you.

Not a problem. As I said I was away for a long enough time that it's understandable. When I returned in June it took ages to get everyone to realize I wasn't new to this, so it looks like Shireroth is my last stop.
