I control the whole Barony? I only thought I had Mirioth/Amity/So-sara... He's referring to the whole Barony (the Holy Lands of Shireroth)...

It sounded like it was Greg's to me. Greg does have an historical right to it, after Nick (Gryphon Avocatio) aka Nick the Yardistani.

Indeed.

I wasn't aware it was a Real Barony, or I'd've assigned it.........

Well, Greg is a citizen, but Nick has a prior claim, i believe. :confused

I'll be back in a few hours.

He left on his permanent LOA a long while ago. I think Greg is his natural successor, since he refuses to reimmigrate. Greg has the nature of a true Yardistani.

KNOW YE ALL!

It pleases me to anoint Greg Russell as Baron of the Holy Lands of Shireroth, and as Count of Florencia.

By my nimble fingers, and all of the authority that I can bring witness to.

Once I get rid of the Cult of the Descendi, the Necomancers, and those damn babkhans, it'll be stellar indeed. :D

Jess I think you might have some "issues" that you are struggling with. They say that aversion therapy is a good way of coping with these things and seeing as you clearly have an irrational phobia of Babkhans I feel that it would be appropriate for me to start you on the path towards healing and "closure" by engaging you in a spot of conversation.

I was wondering where this irrational hatred is coming from so may I start by asking whether we Babkhans have ever attempted any form of ethnic cleansing against your community? Or failing that have we ever evicted either yourself or your friends from what you rightly or wrongly (and lets face it if it was on Eura it was probably wrongly) consider to be an ancestral homeland?

Or do you just not like fezzes?

I can't stand Shireroth being a puppet state.

If everyone is leaving Shireroth it will become indeed a puppet state.

A very good point - there is after all a saying that you have to be in it to win it.

Jess, I challenge you to a logic duel. Er, discussion.
Here, my office in Ynnraile, the Order offices in the Multi-Temple, anywhere.
You post a clear analysis of the reasons why you think Shireroth is becoming a Babkhan puppet state.
We come up with a clear method of testing whether it is or not.
And if we discover it is, I'll swear loyalty to you in your crusade to evict every last Babkhan from the land.
And if we discover it's not, you'll stop talking about it.
Okay?

I will remind everyone that I am not Babkhan. That being said, I'm finding two common points of view in the forums:

1. An assumption that I am Babkhan by certain individuals

2. The assumption that a Babkhan plot exists.

If anyone is suggesting the first point, it is a personal insult to my integrity. If people are suggesting the second point without the first, it's far fetched, but if there is enough concern, we can look into it.

However, if ANYONE is suggesting that both points 1 and 2 are true, then they are speaking Treason. Something which will not be stood for.

And, as there are no Babkhans in charge, we have nothing to worry about.

If there is any foreign plot, if any foreign nation is attempting to wield influence or take advantage of our change of gouvernment, then the Kaiser and I will be the first to bust it into little bitty pieces.

Jess, why don't you fortify your County, as an example of general preparedness? Take what you need from Ducal resources, excluding the YMS Kaiser Mors V.

A Tinfoil hat to start, otherwise the secret Babkhan shadow government will attempt to read your mind. Wouldn't worry though, i don't think they'd find anything to interesting. :p

Jess--

In case you are curious, you seem to be the only one who is in open rebellion against the Crown. This is treason if you continue in your campaign against our Kaiser. Please go back to the Bye, Bye, and Bye thread, and read my second post. If you can't stand being here under our current government, you really need to consider leaving. This will get you no where. And if you really think this is an example of Yardistani rebellion, you are seriously mistaken. As your duke said, it's to be a joke, and not to really be taken seriously. This isn't funny.

Your Niftyness,

The tinfoil hat comment, while droll, does not help me calm the situation.

Count Jess,
If His Niftyness were the evil Babkhan you portray him as, he would have flailed you and sent you to the salt mines twice already. Thank Loki this is Shireroth! I've lived in alleged Democracies that would have imprisoned you long before this.
