The Treaty of Shirekeep, dating from the ancient days of Raynor XI of loving memory, is hereby acknowledged to be out-of-date, unenforceable and therefore moot, empty and void, especially as the Parties to the Treaty exist on three separate planets (Geiss, Micras and Earth).

By the Delgated Authority of the Kaiser, as transmitted by my fingers,

errr... technically... I'm not sure you can do this... If the treaty was passed by the Landsraad.. you can.. if put in force by a Kaiser.. his word is still greater than yours...

If nobody argues about it.....

I really don't see the party of the third part complaining, or noticing, for that matter. If historical research proves me wrong, then I'm wrong. Life has moved so far beyond those days.

Of course, if the reigning Kaiser wants to undo my hard work, well, he IS the Kaiser...... :cry

It was, as I recall, the treaty meant to end the Cyberian conflicts. Yeah, I suppose that WOULD be fairly obsolete now...

*Ponders* Er. I'm not sure, but I think when I was Kaiser, I ended up declaring Jacobus in violation of it or something. I recall being really pissed off about it at the time. Or maybe my memory's not working. If I DID do that, though, perhaps I should take the opportunity now to apologize for any unpleasantness...

On a side note, did anyone ever go visit the VCC? Or are we not going to bother at this point?

Yes, you were, but I wonder if any of them knew who the Steward of Shireroth is.

I don't think they noticed the post. Most of them have gone off to Morovia, and the rest don't seem to care anymore.

Capt. Piccard has been bringing peace messages from President Spaulding, and there was an attempt at a census, but the board is otherwise DEAD :knife

Nothing elase has happened outside the main forum since August of '07.

At one time there was a cottage industry thereabouts keeping track of all of my IP's, alternate log-ins, places I frequented, etc. 'Twas abouth the only thing that kept their economy afloat.

I guess I won that war after all, cause I'm still having fun. :party

Heh. The Treaty's even more obsolete than I thought, then...

*Bows to Jacobus* My lord Steward, the post was indeed well done.

After the liberation of Cognito, I'd be willing to take other diplomatic journeys.
