TAKING INTO ACCOUNT the anarchy which now stalks the Imperial Republic and threatening the well being of the citizens of the four noble counties of Shimmerspring, Modan-Lach, Lywind, and Crestfall Downs

APPRECIATING that in all good faith the moral obligation of the ruler of the land is to secure the safety and prosperity of his people and to undertake whatever steps may be deemed necessary to achieve this lofty goal

RECOGNISING that the Imperial Republic now consists of no functioning government and is the seat of two warring factions, its sovereign now deceased

CONSIDERING that K'Tzuni's actions in the henceforth known Shirereithan Civil War were all designed by its Baron with the express intention of rescuing the Imperial capital from the clutches of villainous persons with designs upon the Golden Mango Throne

PLEDGING that the Provisional Free State of K'Tzuni (as it is henceforth to be known) seceeds from the Duchy of Brookshire and Imperial Republic of Shireroth with the sole intention of providing a safe passage to the throne for the next true sovereign of the Imperial Republic

The K'Tzuni Provisional Free State is hereby declared as independent by Maksym Hadjimehmetov, Baron-General of its realms and protector of the throne of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth, regent of Shirekeep until His Niftiness or His Niftiness' successor returns to claim the Golden Mango Throne in all good faith and with just and noble intentions backing this movement for the future glory and spicy crispyness of the Lord God B'Caw and Imperial Republic of Shireroth

Nah, this thing was done when the rest of the nation was overrun by rebel hordes committed to your destruction, O Niftiness. K'Tzuni's provisional government is merely one designed to rule not as a fully sovereign one, but as a warlord regional one for the duration of there being utter chaos in Shireroth.
Also, read the last couple of lines. If anything, this was designed to stop anything ugly happening if a rebel leader claimed the throne. Now we know what is happening, there's no need for it anymore.
So the Provisional Free State of K'Tzuni lasted from only 10:07 PM to 1:05 PM. Now K'Tzuni is back under His Niftiness' rule. Huzzah. But we're still going to make mincemeat out of those upstart rebels.

You know, if you wanted to, you could wait awhile and work this secession into a different war (wherein continuity with other wars is hardly expected to count)...
