In 2006 and 2007 I was gone for 48 weeks due to illness, and out of reach of a computer, and I was still able to resume my membership upon my return. I had also informed the country that I was going on an unavoidable LOA, so proper notice was given.

Yes... but I never informed you when I fell ill, as it all happened so quickly. So... I dunno. I'm confused. Let's ask the Judex, if we had one :P

I remember you did say you were ill. It seems to me that should cover it, since you fell ill too abruptly to inform us as it happened.
