For various reasons I've been less then active on the par that I ought be.. but not quite enough to step down. Between various mental issues, drinking to much, going to the snow and hanging out with friends, making a webcomic..etc... I've been distracted...

So I wanna get a steward.

Anyone up for the job?

Would the Steward have to continue to fight the Civil War on the Kaisers behalf?

Considering I'm not even fighting on my own behalf.... not really...

The Steward won't really have to do anything. I just officially need someone around while I deal with some stuff right now... I should be better soonish...

Unless things have changed greatly, the Steward, like the Kaiser, may have only one citizenship--i.e., none outside Shireroth. If the Kaiser chooses, he may change this, but that has been the law.

I think he can be a basic Duel Cit (2 cits)... unless taking on the role completely and acting as the Kaiser, when there is none. I'd allow it either way. Cause I plan to be back..

I'm being pressured to take up citizenship here again. Since there has been a rapid decline in the focus on inter-Shirerothian macronational relationships, I might even consider it.

I'd give Liam a full backing! He's a great ruler, and led Toketi through a long and prosperous time. He'd make an amazing steward.

I think people are forgetting.. Steward is more a back-up system, not a ruler.

I think people are also forgetting that this is Shireroth, not Gralus...

I thought a steward was a temporary ruler while the real ruler can't rule. Like when Liam got grounded and put me in charge for a few months...

Welll... that's not the whole truth, really. Traditionally stewardship is also used as a kind of training for Kaisership, and Stewards usually get to be Kaisers after the Kaiser has abdicated... though not always...

Rarely under my rules do I do that I think...

The Steward can rule when the Kaiser is away.. yes. But I prefer in a more.. OH CRAP OH CRAP! sorta way..
