Shireroth

The Duchy of Straylight is hereby restored, with Ari Rahikkala as Duke of Straylight.
It may now have a forum, and full Duchy status.

This is my will, enacted by the authority of the Gods themselves.

* bows deep *

Thank you for this honour, Your Niftiness.

Congratulations!!

All hail the Kingdom (It's a Duchy surely- Ed) under the Sea!

I have the sudden desire for the Sealab 2021 music..

Try some Godspeed You! Black Emperor instead, I find that helps me get in a Straylightian mood

Nick has that.. it.. was.. oddd....

Thanks for sharing that link Ari, I'm really starting to like the sound 'Godspeed You! Black Emperor'.

For those who are currently in the dark about Straylightian culture, I just finished putting down some of my more well-established ideas into ShireWiki. Some of that stuff (for instance, the whole spiel on the Sampo that takes up like half of the page) will be moved off to subpages... as soon as I establish enough about the rest of Straylight to have the material to justify pushing them off...

cooool.... It's like a different version of Yardistani anarchy.. but.. less chaotic and violent...

Yep... I've been thinking of a tagline for Straylight, something along the lines of "It sometimes works, though nobody knows why."

That sounds like it could describe a great deal of things...

Excuse me for a minute, I've just got to pop outside and rofl.

... what?

Yeah.. I can't make heads or tales of it either...
