Shireroth

Just looking on the old Shireroth boards for a reason I can't even remember (got sidetracked after about 3 minutes), found something odd and funny:

On pages 1 and 2 there are 4 pages.

Now click on page 3... Huh? What just happened?

So you go back to page 1 or 2 and click on page 4 to investigate and...

...What the?!

Shireroth has old forums, why did no one tell me!

Shireroth has been around since April of 2007. It just happens that over a year ago, EZBoard suffered a major hacking attack, which wiped out a number of micronational fora, Shireroth among them. We lost most of our fictional history, and most of our posts. We then moved from EZBoard. What you see here is mostly new, or reconstructed from people's stored files.

ezboard are pretty odd... ez-purges, ez-apocalypses...

Sorry--I meant to say Shireroth has been here since April of 2000. That ought to teach me to reread what I post before leaving the forum, no matter what is taking place in RL.

I'm sure it doesn't matter - RL takes precedence over Shireroth undoubtably and Jonas understood your error and pointed it out in any case.

There are occasionally things that must take precedence over virtual life--like our daughter graduating and moving back home, our son getting married to our daughter's best friend, having too many people and cats under one roof...

I believe I will have more time for Shireroth now that the rush has slowed down to a dull roar. I apologize for having been distracted during the past couple of months.

Congratulations to your daughter on graduating and to son on getting married. As I said, there isn't a need to apologise and I don't think anyone begrudges you for it.
