First of all, my official title is now Ambassador-at-Large, Mr. Dunkin having been elected President.

In that capacity, FYI-
Our estranged brothers have just gone through an election cycle. The group in favor of peace with us has won their Presidency, but just barely. President Anderson is in favor of a settlement, but his oppostion wants nothing from us but surrender. Their hardliners have dusted off a treaty that Shireroth was involved with, and are attempting to bludgeon us with it. However, since you do not show it in your treaty archives, I assume that you have no further interest in the affair, which is all well and good with us.

If the hardliners are true to form they may very will show up in Shireroth making a fuss.

At this time it is our policy to respond to them minimally, and try to keep the battle out of our neighbors forums.

President Anderson (the leader of the peace party) was forced from office in a coup d'etat. The hardliners are trying to ram through measures that are tantamount to a declaration of war against us.

These elements who have seized control may attempt to entangle Shireroth in this unfortunate situation.

As far as I know that treaty is still in effect, and though I don't recall the full wording of it, I see no reason for it to have lost any of its potency. Should the matter arise I will seek it out and review it, till then, I take no stance other then to state, that to the best of our knowledge, the treaty still stands, and Shireroth still recognizes it.

The treaty was made with the Imperial Government. The FRC was never a party to it. We believe that the best honorable solution is a two-state one.
With recognition of the fact that there exists more than one Cyberia.

We will never surrender to the forces of oppression, but neither will we allow our adversaries to make Shireroth a battleground again.

If His Imperial Majesty chooses to recognize our adversaries, I will merely respectfully suggest that he is mistaken. In the natural course of time, the forces of nastiness will spend themselves and dissipate, and we will still stand.

I will also point out that the current regime in Kernsopolis is the result of a coup, and is therefore of questionable legality.

Shireroth should be assured of our desire for friendship, and not to take silence as disinterest.
