Since I recognize that I am relatively week in te field of foreign affairs, and am sympathetic to the plight of new Kaisers who might not be strong in that area either, I would like to request a list from the Minister of the Exterior. This list will require some good deal of work, so there is no real rush. All the same, I would like to see it done.

The list shall include the names of all micronations with which we have mutual recognition, official or otherwise. Each entry in this list shall have the the following information, much like a census of nations:

Name of the nation
Link to their forums
Type of treaty (mutual recognition, defense, protectorate, etc.)
Links to treaty/treaties (Landsraad threads or Kaiserial decrees, wiki pages, etc.)
Date of treaty ratification
Notable citizens who post here often

The above information should be posted, in list format, in a sticky thread, to serve as a public resource. In addition, I would be pleased if you would post all treaties, new and old and with their ratification date, as responses to the initial post, forming a thread of treaties. The original post should warn that any non-treaty posts shall be deleted.

Ric seems to be doing a really good job as it is, and I was never very good at making treaties or anything. I'd probably just spoil it all by trying to declare war on Babkha or something.

My only advice to Ric would be to consider reinstating the DiploCorps, but that might need a few more people to work really well. He might also want to look at the Non-Aligned Movement, an alliance between Antica, Natopia, Matbaa, and maybe some other people, just because all those countries are our friends and it seems like a nice enough group.

Yeah, I´ll do my best digging up old treaties and the like :-)

As to the diplocorps, that´s a good idea. But it means we have people willing to go abroad. Right now I don´t know who those may be.

Well, part of the idea of the NAM was to bring all the medium nations together to combat the rising tensions between superpowers and stop helpless small nations getting drawn in.
Basically, we're a newbie-friendly alliance group opposed to the GC's domination of everything. And we'd be more than happy to accept Shireroth as a member

It's a shame that there was never a FNORD for best micronational oxymoron. The Non-Aligned Movement would win hands down.
