No military service! Yay!

I just got a letter from the National Service Administration. They say I don't have to do military service unless I want to. Yay!

Congratulations! Not being required to do military service is a wonderful thing - certainly one of the things I like best about my country.
Of course, then I do something odd like volunteering
But again, congrats

Last time Swedish soldiers found themselves in a war was 1939 and even then that was across the border in Finland... and they were on leave.
