I tried to start a topic in Elywnn about how it should be Brookshire.. but got dumped to the Index... instead....

That happens to me all the time. What you'll have to do is to make sure that you're logged in before you start a topic.
And as to your proposition - no way! None of Elwynn's territory belonged to Brookshire. All that which was Brookshire belongs to Yardistan.

As I just stated in the other thread on this, the Elwynn banner does not link to the forums on the correct subdomain. It still links to shireroth.kuroshiro.net/blah instead of shireroth2.kuroshiro.net, and logging in on one does not carry over to the other.
