The Port Nevermore Center is offering tours of its genuine pirate village. Come try some grog, ogle the serving wenches, climb the rigging of our pirate ships, walk the plank, practice talking like a pirate, get your picture taken on a real pirate ship with a parrot on your shoulder. Aye, Matey!! :knife

Greg--

You need to remember that these are PIRATES!! :D

You need to keep all valuables safe. But you can have a jolly time. Arrr.

btw, the piirate sloop, the Spotted Dog (think New Dalmatia), is embarking on a treasure-hunting trip. There is still time to sign on with the captain, or to be keel-hauled and impressed into the crew. Don't forget to have a pint of grog with our scurvy crew in our shady pub, full of all sorts of rascals and rapscallions. :knife

Some of whom have been known to purloin royal titles!

Are you casting personal aspersions? If so, say so directly. You, sir, are on dangerous ground. I have not perloined a royal title. It was given to me, and I later relinquished it, as you well know.

No! I was self-deprecating. Well, as is normal in my comedic style, I was mixing self-deprecation with a slight amount of sarcasm snd tongue-in-cheek...(the classical question asked by many when I tell jokes, "Is he actually joking?"). :kaiser

Then I apologize for my over-reaction. It is hard to tell sometimes, when a statement is in print, just what the intentions and attitude of the speaker or writer is.
