Whie good idea in theory, it has been a long time since those did much good. Usually, that abuse report thing is only there to stop lawyers complaining. If they do notice your message, chances are is that it will just prove that our forum is active and the spam is being read, and is thus a valid target.

It's the same as where, in spam email, if you repley to ask them to stop sending, they wil just use it as proof that you exist, and will thus send more.

10 points for initiative and thanks for trying to help, but unfortunatly, the spammers are just one step ahead here.

I'm sorry to hear that you have had that experience. When I have asked a website to stop sending me email I have had my request honored at a number of occasions. However, I don't go to the website via the spam email though. Perhaps that makes a difference, sir.
