The cogney female replies (fine wot. ye owe me some tartey tarts).. (yeah yeah....) the male voice comes closer..

OH! I thought you said "pretty and interesting," not "pretty interesting." In which case I would have to point out that our nation's fourth line of defense is the sheer ugliness of our forum background (we have that instead of a National Guard.) Anyway, it's not hard to make friends and climb the Ladder of Power, here. I've been here under six full months, and I'm already Minister of Immigration, Naturalization, and Tourism, as well as Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

Welcome to Shireroth! You will become the count of a county, and can put together your own culture and activities. If they are interesting, other people will join in and help you keep things going. Be sure to check out all the duchies and their baronies, and find one that seems to fit your personality or interests. Then you will have others in your geographic area with whom you will interact on a more-or-less regular basis. I am countess of New Novi Dalmacjia, proprietor of a pirate village/adventure outfitter/training school/store of great wonders, and baroness of the Barony of Lumina's Light, in the Duchy of Kildare.
