Shireroth

5a. This Contract may be amended by concensus of all parties involved at any time. The four-month clock shall be restarted from that point, and the reworded contract will remain in effect for four-month's time.

WE THE UNDERSIGNED hereby recognize ourselves as "The Duchy of Yardistan," as per the following terms.

1. The Counties of Benacia, Straylight, Yardistan, Florencia, and Mirioth, Amity, and So-Sara are hereby joined into one contiguous unit known as the "Duchy of Yardistan."

2. The Duchy of Yardistan shall be divided into three portions, all subordinate to the Duchy as a whole.
2a. The second section shall be known as the "Barony of the Holy Lands of Shireroth", and shall consist of the County of Yardistan, the County of Florencia, and the County of Mirioth, Amity, and So-Sara. Count Angel-Guardian shall be its Baron.
2b. The second section shall be the County of Benacia.
2c. The third section shall be the County of Straylight.

3. All Counties involved shall be given leave to do what they wish within their respective Counties, except in the case where a Count would be disregarding the laws of Shireroth, the Kaiser, or a superior power within the Duchy.

4. The First Duke of the restored Yardistan shall be Shyriath Bukolos, the Count of Benacia. Power shall succeed to appointed heirs and Stewards in a fashion similar to the Imperial Kaisers of Shireroth.

5. This Contract shall remain in force indefinitely, unless a resident of the Duchy calls for a consideration of an amendment. This Contract may then be amended by concensus of all parties involved at that time.
5a. The only changes allowed to this contract by an entering party are for name inclusion purposes only; no new terms shall be created within or agreed upon within this contract. A separate contract with that party may be created to solve any issues. However, amendments may be suggested by an entering party after their inclusion into the Duchy of Yardistan.
5b. Changes and amendments to this contract relating to changes of name by a County, Barony, or the Duchy itself, or to removal of a County of Barony, or else relating to compliance with Imperial Law, shall be automatic.

6. Additional Counties may join the Duchy of Yardistan at any time, provided they agree to this contract and abide by its terms.

7. The above-mentioned Counties reserve the right to remove themselves from the Duchy of Yardistan at any time and for any reason, given that the concerned Count speak with the Duke of Yardistan prior to leaving.

8. All subdivisions and residents of the Duchy of Yardistan shall recieve three, and exactly three, guaranteed rights:
8a. Any Yardistani has the right to rebel for any reason, against anyone, including zirself, and not be formally charged with treason to Yardistan by the Duke. But this shall not guarantee protection from the breaking of any other Yardistani law, nor the law in any other Duchy and especially not any Imperial law whatsoever. The level of potential punishment shall likely be in inverse proportion to the silliness of the rebellion.
8b. Anyone not involved in a Yardistani rebellion, but who notices and wishes to take sides, has the right to pick any side zie wishes (though any rebel shall automatically be subject to article 8a), and furthermore is encouraged to use whatever strange and ridiculous weaponry or troops they may possess. As a service to non-resident travellers in Yardistan, this right is extended to them as well; go to town.
8c. Any Yardistani has the right, and is encouraged, to annex random stuff in the name of Yardistan.
