Most of our problems stem not from a lack of knowledge about the software, but a lack of access to it - we do not have FTP access to the actual files since Greg Dean is hosting it for us (very nicely, too).

I helped Bill hack the site last night, and now he has full control again.

As evidenced by the now existance of Lac Glacei. I have no clue why, but it is the only forum that requires permissions for registered members and guests to view it. I'm assuming it's because it's the first non-subforum forum we've made since the conversion. Or maybe all upper-level forums need those types of permissions, and I just checked a subforum for comparison. *shrug* Either way, it works and Conglacio is now mod of it. Let there be rejoycing!

Actually, I got it by using GMan's Kaiser Alejian II account. After fooling around for awhile, Nick gave me the idea to change the shireroth account's password. Now I had access to the leadership of both the admins and main admins (Why do we have two, anyway?) and could fix stuff.

The idea behind having a main admin is so that there can be one admin to rule them all, in the darkness blind... er, control the othe admins.

True, but it doesn't work when said main admin is inactive.

*shrug* I don't know these things, I just fix the broken cogs and springs. Someone fixed it, though.
