Lac Glacei STILL Needs a Forum

I've been really patient here. In fact, overly patient and downright apathetic you might call it. Now Lac Glacei has need its own forum for some time now. I've asked twice, I've PM'ed the appropriate people, and still nothing. I've held to my word as much as anyone can be expected to.

Now I'm putting my foot down.

Either give Lac Glacei a forum as we agreed upon within the next five days, or I shall consider all treaties and obligations between us and Shireroth to be abrogated and dissolved. Consider it a rebellion if you want, but I've certainly given plenty of time and opportunity to do something fundamentally simple.

So now it comes to this. The dreaded ultimatum.

Note, I don't want to secede Lac Glacei. I'm too frickin busy to be honest. But neither shall I lay down and take be trampled into the dust and forgotten. Beckford is Lac Glaceian. Hatter is Lac Glaceian. Jake is Lac Glaceian. These people rely on me to lead them and the grand duchy. Several other forums have been added/updated since I made my initial request. There really is no excuse for this negligence on Shireroth's part.

I just tried to add it, but though it shows up in the admin list, it does not show up on the board. Then again, my admin panel does not seem to work, and I cannot get Greg(2)'s attention on the subject.

Time to go play poke the kaiser on AIM....

why poke the kaiser? The kaiser has seen this thread, and posted on it.

It's the other Greg who needs to look at it, and I cannot get him.

I thought Greg [Russel] had gotten admin? I seem to recall a thread somewhere on here saying such...

And besides, it's fun to poke the kaiser. :evil

Just because I have admin, doesn't mean I know how to use it... unless your talking about a different kind of poking... in which case, i'll pass. :o

I also have admin, and I have also tried to give you a forum. In fact, I tried two months ago, told you I couldn't do it, and suggested you ask Greg Dean. I think the thread is still in the Northhold forum somewhere. Once again, I suggest you find and ask Greg, because he's the only person who knows how to help.

I still need modship over the MINT, thought you ought to know.

I asked Greg Dean. A few times actually. He told me to send him a reminder PM the last time I asked. Which I also did.

And then nada.

So there we are, back to square one.

What's a guy gotta do to get some attention around here?! :cry :P

Light your hair and beard on fire and run, naked, into the middle of a heavily-trafficed freeway. Then, you might get a quick sideways glance from a minor ministerial bureaucrat and perhaps a tongue-cluck by his overweight middle-aged recently-liberated hausfrau receptionist.

I know, and I would have done it if I could, but, like in this case, I am unable to.

If anyone does manage to reach Greg(2), don't just ask to get done the stuff you want doing, but try and get him to give me the tools needed to be able to do this stuff myself.

By the way, Ryan, does Lac Glacei citizenship count as Shirerothian citizenship? Otherwise you have some trouble on your hands, (4 citizenships) elsewise you can't be a noble. (3 citizenships)

I'm counting Shireroth, Lac Glacei, the Corporation, and that CIS nation you made. Seriously, drop the CIS nation, you don't need to (nor should you) associate with them.

oh, come along, Bill! The CIS isn't so bad! Their President used to hang around here a lot, though where he went, I don't know.

I repeat what Vehendi said - Go see it for yourself. The CIS really is that bad.

From the Centerflying Treaty:
SECOND, that the Grand Duchy of Lac Glacei will become a protectorate of Shireroth, under the following terms:

- That it acknowledge the Kaiser as a ceremonial head of state.
- That it share the foreign policy of Shireroth
- That it share the currency and economy of Shireroth, and present no barrier to the free flow of Shirerithian goods
- That it does not cede its sovereignty to or become vassal of any third party
- That it not be subject to the laws of the Landsraad of Shireroth.
-That it not be subject to any Kaiserial decrees save those which expressly mention it.
- That it have a separate immigration policy from Shireroth, that citizens of one not be citizens of the other unless they specifically join both nations, and that the Tri-Citizenship policy of Shireroth not apply to it.
- That Shireroth is obligated to defend it if attacked
- That the Grand Duke and the Kaiser periodically meet and discuss common issues and common goals at their convenience

Do you see Lac Glacei in any form of existence? Well I certainly don't!

I can't do anything with it, because it "technically" belongs to Shireroth. On top of that, I'm still waiting for a damn forum to set things up here. Lac Glacei has become all but Shirerithian in word. The citizenships between here and there is one and the same. There is no distinct seperation anymore.

Oh, don't be so impatient. You're dealing with the Shrithian Imperial Bureaucracy, here. Poke it now and then; you'll get results. And I'm just about the inly one who actually checks his PMs.

I *finally* caught Greg Dean on the AIM, and he said to email him what needs to get done and he'll do it! We've done *all* we can now Ryan!
