To employers throughout Shireroth:

A Very Short Micronational Resume

Wildcolonial

A new Shirerothian citizen - naturally gullible, inexperienced and exploitable - seeks employment in the Imperial Republic.

Some relevant experience and qualifications:
  • A former micronationalist who served in numerous Baracaon administrations, former publications, civil society organisations etc.
Has some knowledge of law and related fields.
    Interested in reviving micronational journalism.
As always, willing to work for twopence, in appalling conditions, for hours that certainly do not apply with the European Working Time Directive.
    Will work as serf.

I'm looking for a director of BISI--the Bureau of Immigration Security and Information. You'd be working for me, and it would be your responsibility to make sure that nobody we let into Shireroth is a security threat, as well as to inform new immigrants about Shireroth.

I'm looking for a director of BISI--the Bureau of Immigration Security and Information. You'd be working for me, and it would be your responsibility to make sure that nobody we let into Shireroth is a security threat, as well as to inform new immigrants about Shireroth.
While, I am honoured to be offered such a job, it would appear to be slightly problematic:

1. In regard to security:
i. Is my own security cleared? Have I been forgiven for any deeds I may have committed in the past (not necessarily against Shireroth)?
ii. Would I be in a position, or would it be advisible to put me in a position at this early stage, where I would have access to intelligence etc allowing me to make such an assesment?

2. I'm a new immigrant...

Perhaps, these are only minor points, and I'm making a mountain into a molehill, if so, I gratefully accept the offer, and will try my best to fulfill the responsibilities required!

When can I begin? :angel

when I was a kid, baracoan usually meant evil...so I would say maybe security is not a good idea? but aparantly there are people who watch overt what goes on in mint, so it is fine...

wildcolonial, where you in there whaen I was? with all the double logins and name changes and the talamthome problems, I never could work out who was who,.....

Well, of course, I can't give you the job yet...there are still things to work out, and I have to consider how actions taken by me might reflect on the Ministry, so you'll have to be cleared and then reabsorbed into Shireroth.

No offense to Fidel Nico, but he was a spy in Menelmacar for Baracao. I don't trust him in a position like this, and regardless, a new citizen should not have this position.

"Idle hands spend time at the crotch, and we know how much God hates that."

Sorry, I must wait until you're less new before I can give you such a job. :)

Oh, I'm sure you'll be fine! Here in Shirekeep, over in the Rim, we've got some really excellent cardboard boxes, low rent, too....
