It is my sad, unenviable task to make this day an unnofficial day of mourning over the passing of such a wonderfull man. If life was more like him, it would be a bright and pretty thing. Alas, some things are too good for such a despairing place. Please, anyone with fond memories, share them here, or simply offer your condolences to his family, who on the off chance might see it. Thanks.

Indeed, Rob was a great friend and confidant whom I respected and admired beyond what simple words can describe. I pray he is in a better place and that, in the strange ways our universe plays out, there is truly good reason for him to have been taken from this earth.

Maybe heaven needed a good lawyer. They *are* probably short of the good kind there.
