Changed the insignia to be more Shirithian.

Instead of a "Full Bird" Colonel, we now have a Full Moose Colonel.

stars for generals are pretty universal, so leave them, but maybe have mango leaves instead of oak?

Yes, that would be much cooler. Then, you can put flame decals on the sides of the Navy ships, to make them "go faster." Just kidding! Mango leaves, excellent idea.

*shakes head* I like the rank insignia, but if you want to call them Mango leaves rather than Oak leaves, I have no qualms with that.

I don't think you're quite getting the point..we would like to replace the oak leaves with mango leaves, not just rename them.

sorryboss, I am not trying to sound like I don't like what you've done, it's just that it all seemed too obviosly american.

*nods*

Admittedly, that's true - I went with what I know, with some tweaking - but at the same time, most of the ranks aren't just American, they go back rather further than that. So it's more of a carrying on of not-just-American tradition with slight cultural tweaking.

Let me see if I can find suitible rank insignia for "Mango leaves". If not, I'm thinking we keep them as-is.

On second thought, mango leaf clusters look suspiciously like the pot-leaf frond images, and I would like to steer the military of Shireroth at least away from that particular image.

The current leaves stay.

I don't even think we have enough citizens to fill most positions. :p

What, the military doesn't approve of marijuana? *Cough*analretentivefascists*Cough* Just joking, haha, I'm glad you all are so respectable..hehe..

I'm not saying I disapprove of it... just that I disapprove of it in relation to the military.

The phrases "recreational drug" and "high-caliber firearm" should not be used in the same paragraph, let alone sentence :)

In my opinion. Unless the Kaiser says otherwise.

Well, I am the Antikaiser. I hereby give you my permission to associate the military with light narcotics, and also recommend that the oak leaves be replaced with mango leaves.

I've a better plan - the current insignia will stay, and we can associate the military with copious amounts of alcohol like it always has been.

Sound good?

Bah! We'll have to get new body parts, either way.

Guinness is appropriate 367 days a year.
