Greetings from the Confederacy of Independent States, we are very pleased to meet your people and look forward to future diplomatic contact. We are very agreeable with your proposed treaty and beleive that with enough co-operation, the CIS and Shireroth will be able to support each other greatly in the international arena for the benefit of our mutual interests.

Upon looking further into your nation and the activities of your people, we don't see the usual bunch of barbaric micronationalists and instead find a nation filled with level headed and intelligent individuals which must be the reason for Shireroth's tremendous success.

It's very nice to receive a warm reception from you and your people.

And I was very amazed how muturely your citizens took the rumour that we were at war.

Yes, it was a pack of lies, unfortunately we're having to pick up the pieces of a very bad image created by a trio of people who were out to make us look like the Micronational Devil.

We've managed to shut them up, but from what I've seen Shireroth has also had to be at the brunt of nasty rumours that equate it to the Micronational version of the Borg.

How have you dealt with it in the past? We don't like to stoop so low as make counter attacks, I suppose the nations who are dumb enough to act on third hand information aren't really good nations to be friendly with.

Borg? Rumors?... oh yes.. Of course.. Rumors. hehe That is all they are.. rumors.. now just sign this treaty for us... no.. this pen.. yes.. just dip it into some of your blood.. oh.. it's nothing.. just gives your soul to us.

We just tend to ignore people when they are pulling stunts. It works surprisingly well. Or we blow them into tiny pieces, but that's more the old way of doing things. But if all else fails, our Minister of Exterior is Extremely talented and wise, and does a fantastic job of dealing with situations that arise.

All in all, it's just a micronation. It's not worth it, generally.

I proposed the treaty we discussed earlier before the Landsraad, where it is currently in limbo. It's now up to our nobility and to our Praetor to vote at some point, putting the situation unfortunately out of my hands.
