Kuralyov is back...

If this sentence doesn't mean anything to you, you should look a bit deeper into Antican history. :document

Who in God's Green Goodness is Kuralyov?

Posted: Sat Jan 28, 2006 1:39 pm
by Delphi
The bane of Antica's existence for quite a long time.

Banes of existence often have stupid names. Yet, I feel like I should have known about this. Kuralyov, a demon of the ancient world.....

And whom are you planning to smite? [Hopes it isn't me.]

Don't you fellas worry... we'll get him into Novaya Zemlya, drunk to the follicles with 120 proof vodka then de-follicled with intense radiation. By the time he gets anywhere near you he'll be sweet and placid with inebriated serenity... :angel

Krasniy, I heart you.

mwahahahahaha.

Excellent.

Delphi, do you know that new treaty Bill is proposing for the ROA? Do you realize what a threat that is to us? A big one.

I'm in the debate, I should know.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to appear patronizing. I was simply indicating my concern. I read your argument wherein you cited the Treaty of Aquilaria, and pretty well swept Bill aside. Masterful bit of statesmanship, there. :kaiser

Tell me, Kuralyov, were you exercising some pathetic attempt to mock me, by displaying that twitterpated emoticon? I should certainly hope you weren't implying a belief that I am a sycophant. Perhaps it is simply some oversight.

*smack* No need for that here.

And you didn't sweep me aside - the quote was answering "What happens if the Dinarchy becomes soveriegn again and goes to war? And we should specift what is their territory as we recognize it."

I was just posting how much I love all of you. I understand Mr. Augustus Duke has a particular fondess for me. I certainly wasn't calling you a sycophant.

Although, Mr. Edward Norton, the afct that you show such strong ahtred of me when we haven't even talked before shows a decided lack of individual thinking...

Who in the world said I hated you, Kuralyov? If you picked up from my statements such a meaning, when I said no such thing, all I can say is that you must have a highly-paranoid need to preserve your own probably-diluted self-image. :no

You're right. It's just that I saw you were one of Delphi's mindless sycophants so I assumed the obvious.

Since when is it considered sycophantic to compliment someone who has done well? It is much more wise to be personable than to be cantankerous.

Let me remind you:

Delphi: Kuralyov is back...
You: Who in God's Green Goodness is Kuralyov?
Delphi: The bane of Antica's existence for quite a long time.
You: Banes of existence often have stupid names. Yet, I feel like I should have known about this. Kuralyov, a demon of the ancient world.....

So, self admittedly knowing nothing about me, you immediately decide to insult and denigrate me based solely on the tetsimony of one person, who happens to be your leader.

And I know that the majority of Anticans would consider Delphi, not me, to be the bane of their existence...

Majority of Republicans. And then only if he's in power. He's mostly agreeable when involved with a KZFO or JSA event.

[Scoff]

You're very touchy, Kuralyov. Some people know not the meaning of jest. And the fact that you assume I was singling you out for insult shows that you know very little about me, and the very way in which I conduct myself, to-wit, my posting style/ manner of addressing others.

And the reason I said that bit about "...I should have known about this.." is because I happen to teach Antican history at the JM3U, and I have done a fair bit of research. The "..demon of the ancient world.." was a Gandalf, LOTR reference.

I take offence at that insinuation. You obviously know nothing of me if you think I am going to take these unfounded accusations sitting down.

Kuralyov, if you read the rest of my last post, you'll probably be even more outraged.

What are you implying about me? That I'm attempting to assasisnate your leader? That is a quite serious allegation, sir.

Posted: Sat Feb 04, 2006 12:09 pm

Once again, your ignorance of my prose style proves your foolishness. I am implying no such thing.

However, I'm beginning to understand why Delphi said you were a bane of Antica's existence.

I have always supported the Antican people. They exhibit a drive towards self-determination and self-betterment that I find refreshing, and any state formed by them has my complete backing.

Quiet, Kuralyov. Your vendetta wasn't always against me alone, though now it would be beneficial for you to say it was. And mind you, the people here are just as much Antican as those in the Republic.
