Awesome. Can I have Norfolk back?

Sure, but why you would want a piece of land so far away from everyone else is beyond me.

Oh, I have my reasons. Mostly stupid, petty reasons. I'll post about said reason when I have enough time to properly relate it.

Uh... B'caw... and stuff... nah, I'm no good at saluting.

Anyways, good to have you back, even if you weren't really gone all that long.

Okay, I have a spare moment. Here's why:

The last time I sailed out of Norfolk it was on the Angel of London, a British vessel f about 48 feet with beautiful lines and a sturdy keel. We were to take her from Norfolk into Larchmont in the Long Island Sound for the owners. Halfway up the coast and well over 100 miles offshore, we ran into a hurricane. 100+ knot winds, waves taller than the mast... It was the most fun I've ever had.

That's why I want Norfolk. So, ma'am, may I have it back?

*someone whispers in his ear*

*walks away, disturbed*

Ironically, Norfolk was originally a naval-themed micronation. It used to have one of the American battleships as its forum background (I forget which one, unfortunately).

Here's the old Norfolkian flag from my archives if you wish to use it.

That kicks butt. Thanks!

All I need is a nod from the Kaiseress and I'll be going about my business...
