Fight for the kingdom, bound for glory!
Armed with a heart of steel!
I swear to my brothers who stand before me!
To no man shall I yield!
Their blood is upon my steel!

(This quickly reply thing is awesome)

I'll take Bacardi 151, you Soviet silly-head :demon.

So we'll fight against the wind
for the glory of the kings
to defeat the evil enemies
And we'll ride with our lord
for the power and the throne
in the name of holy thunderforce

Wait a minute....... :archy

Oh, come on, you can laugh at Manowar, but not Rhapsody?

I very well can laugh at Rhapsody (but I'm not laughing at Manowar, but rather with them), but there's the issue of quality that is involved. Manowar do what they do really well and I love them for it. Rhapsody sort of try to do what Manowar do, but they don't really do it well or convincingly. A big part of what makes Manowar awesome is their whole partisan attitude towards metal and the subsequent association of metal with this kind of Viking and pagan barbarian warior image which they successfully make very attractive through their attitude.

Rhapsody try to copy the language, but they don't have that same kind of "rally the warriors around me" attitude that made Manowar special. Manowar succeeds in being convincing at the same time that it is ridiculous, whereas Rhapsody is never able to do more than be ridiculous.
