The required time periods for full naturalization is a good idea, Nick. Nice work. Locke

I like...but don'tcha think it would've been nice if something this important had gone through the Landsraad first? To increase activity if nothing else?

Wasn't this naturalisaton rule passed by the Landsraad a few months ago?

A different set of Naturalization rules tried to go through the Landsraad... But no one cared enough.. So I took them down...This didn't have to go through the Landsraad, as MiniImNat he can do this kinda stuff without a vote... hehe E. Any Ministry can put into affect any law/rule/thing that applies to their Ministry.... they can even go into a Duchy and tell a duke what to do if it applies to their ministry... like... MiniTrade, could say.. No taxes above 10%.. and if a Duke does a....11% tax.. MiniTrade can go in and Say.. NOPE.. none of that.. E. I don't like that. Too much power. Nick could lift Tri-Cit or something if he got the whim. For that matter, I could start making alliances like crazy, declare war, and merge us with people (although I'd doubtless be vetoed and fired). Doesn't make sense. There ought to be some limits as to exactly what ministers can and can't do.

He can't lift Tri-Cit.. it's a Decree... and yes.. the Kaiser would proly Fire you... that is the limit... E. Metzler (UEC)Duke of Brookshire"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GSClicky Clicky..., Tiss for your own good ya know.

Quote:The job of the Minister of Immigration and Naturalization shall be to maintain a means by which individuals may immigrate to and become citizens of Shireroth. In otherwords, i can decide how people become citizens because it is my job.Quote:The job of the Minister of the Exterior shall be to establish and maintain communications with bodies and/or nations outside the bounds of Shireroth. The Minster shall be vested with the power and responsibility of negotiating with foreign powers, and presenting the outcome of said negotiations to the Kaiser and/or Landsraad. The second line of the above quote implies that as MiniExt, you are the representative of the Kaiser and Landsraad to other nations and vice versa; e.g., you are directly under their control and represent their wishes. It is your job to negotiate for them. Gryphon Avocatio Shirerothian Elder SAVE THE ELF! Save the Kiwi! I can tell you for a fact that Tri-cit will stay.....it is the Shireroth policy and the only person who can override that policy is the Kaiser....I mean...if I decreed it non-existant...Harvey can still override my power....so it stays.

so technically, as minister of information, I can choose to just randomly archive everything on the board? or close any threads that I didn't like? or... eat cheese? or... declare Jadie's and Harvey's wedding Illegit as it was not recorded in the book of ages?hrm... that last one actually sounds like a nice Idea... then we could have another wedding... and cake... and presents... and big crowning of kaiseress et cetera...but I won't do that... just because I'm not that cruel... just be thankful you didn't give this job to my brother... hehehe hahaha muahahahahahahah... You'll have to check the constitution for you legal limits, Gryphon (B). Then you must interpret the almost nothing in it to decide what you can do...why...i feel a bit like a supreme court justice.... Gryphon Avocatio Shirerothian Elder SAVE THE ELF! Save the Kiwi! Perhaps we do need to set down some boundry as to what the ministers can and cannot do. The Constitution is very vague and doesn't clearly outline our limitations.
