Shireroth

As we can all see at GoldShire, the background has reverted to the evil tree. No one is entirely sure what happened here, but we would all like it fixed. Therefore, I am proposing this new contest.The idea is simple: find an image somewhere out on the internet that you think suits GoldShire. It does not need to be exactly like the other background... if it works, it works. Submit the link here. The images will be judged my local residents of GoldShire, which is... umm... myself, Jadie, and Poet, who likely will not show up.You can submit more then one image if you would really like to, but please do not submit more then three in the best interest of letting everyone have a fair shot at the contest. And no submitting huge galleries and saying "pick one" either.I like to give prizes, so whoever wins will get a prize that is custom-tailored to the winner, giving me more time to think about what I want it to be. If you somehow manage to find the exact same image we had before, you automatically get a prize even if you do not win. First come first serve on that one.So... let the image hunt begin! i decided to try and enter a contest! seeing as this doesnt take any real skill, i thought id be well suited to at least enter. i found one picture that i really liked, but i may add more as i come across them.trees! don't blink, you'll miss my shot.

Okay, the judges have made their decisions...FIRST PLACE: Aurefiction's mountains. This image captures the essence of what Goldshire's last background was, and is very beautiful on its own.SECOND PLACE: PhillipMarshall's trees. Nice and gold too, which is a very nice touch.THIRD PLACE: Mattlore's random bush. Very green and vibrant, but I do not see Goldshire as in the rain forest. It is also a bit small to be used as a backgroundHONORABLE MENTION: Mattlore's house, or maybe our house. We were not looking for a house picture, but thank you for submitting it none the les..DISHONORABLE MENTION: Mount Beckford. Not only is it creepy beyond words, but the file was (thankfully) broken when we tried to view it.Congratulations to everyone!
