Well, everyone knows all the work I put into it. That big huge book of a story describing the Space Marines and the history and races and stuff. And then Shireroth annexed it and that ended all that....So.... Seeing as noone's done anything with it here and it's not even listed on the forums, would it be possible for me to like be Mar Saran Duke or somethin so I could keep my stories and crap goin?

Not Duchy. But I would support it being a Barony. As long as you promise not to try to claim it as your own when/if you leave Shireroth.... Raynor M'JiliadKaiser of Shireroth

Barony sounds so lame tho... Barony of Mar Sara... It just doesn't roll off the tounge right... meh...*gets out map of Germany in 1648*County? Yes, County! I can be a Count. Ooh, that's like so cool...Anyhoo.. Nah, i'm not gonna SUCCEED *annoys Scott* with it if I leave. I just want to be able to run it for now so I can keep writing my big story about the Saber Cats and Space Marines and stuff.

Mar Sara, the rubber nation - ya never know where it will bounce too next!Anyway, I would support a motion to give Mar Sara some sort of territorial definition. Harvey SteffkeJadie's Lesser HalfSaves the worldProud bearer of the Shirerothian Silver Sword Award and Imperial Star

Ryan definitely deserves a noble title...he's been pretty active and has proven himself as a qualified micronationalist thirty bajillion times over. On the other hand, unrestrained proliferation of noble titles could cause problems...I'd really like it if we could someday reach a state where there are more than one or two people per fiefdom. Maybe we can give it to Ryan and then pass a law limiting the number of Duchies and Baronies for the future so that we won't feel bad saying no to the next person? Since everything is but an apparition, having nothing to do with good or bad, acceptance or rejection, one may well burst out in laughter. - Longchenpa

County is a lesser title than a Barony of Duchy, hence why I recommended it. Whereas a Baron or Duke is a direct power of authority over a large amount of land and influential in the royal courts, a Count or Countess can be appointed to administer lesser land divisions.Like, for instance, Mar Sara could be a County within the Duchy of Yardistan. So the Count would then be subordinate to not only the Kaiser, but to the Duke/Dutchess of Yardistan. That would provide a number of other noble positions for those who want them, while not flooding the nation with duchies. And note, you don't need to give me a forum, since I still have the original Mar Saran boards I can use.

There's nothing to stop it being the other way around here though, is there? (Just pass a law or decree if necessary) Baron-Regent, Lord Protector and Grand Chancellor of

Knights CAN'T be above Kaisers by definition because by definition knights are soldiers who are loyal to the king personally. Kinda like the SS for Hitler. Ok I'm getting weird assossiations. "Never let sense conquer nonesense"-- Quixy the god of Madness.

as i am first knight do NOT make that comparison agian (hates nazi more than drow)and yah, i will dicuss it with the kaiser, also what warvoid describes is similar to what he have baronies for. Baronies i think we can have much more of as they are the "lesser" nobels, making the system mocu simplerKaiser-dukes-barons-"peasent peons"with of course the royal gaurd running higgldy-piggaldy over everything and making a genral nuscence of themselves*turns to a gaurdsman*PUT THAT DOWN!!! let the piggy go!!!excuse me*chases after the gaurd*COME BACK HERE!!! YAY!!! we're doooomed!!!!!!

Die Totenkopf Panzer Abteilung ischt der shiznit.Nothing beats a good Konig Tiger Panzer Brigade!Barring the death camps, genocide, anti-semitism and all that... The Waffen SS had such awesome uniforms...Why is it all the jerks in history tend to have the coolest uniforms???Disclaimer: Before anyone goes off spouting i'm a Neo-Nazi. I am not a Neo-Nazi. Why not cajole a few of that 900 into joining our benighted [sp] hobby Warvoid?Anyway I think (on an unrelated not) that I have a scenario of yours relating to the Khanate of Sibir kicking around on my hard-drive. Any reason for the obsession?

I've tried to get some of them to come here. As a matter of fact, a good majority of them are from Apolyton. Unfortunately, most of them think this hobby is childish. *glares at Bill*Besides having the same birthday as Ivan the Terrible, I have no relationship to Russia whatsoever. I have this strange fascination with untamed lands, such as Siberia, Antarctica and Greenland. Something about that pristine, nearly endless nature that I love. And Siberia is, by far, the most beautiful landscape i've ever seen in the world. I was first introduced to it when studying Mongolian history, which led to the Khanates in 1294 at Kublai Khan's death, when his grandson Sibir inherited what would become central Siberia, the land around the Ob' and Irtysh rivers. The city of Sibir was built near present-day Tyumen and the Khanate actually lasted until 1584 when the Cossacks, sent out (oddly enough) by Ivan the Terrible, conquered it. The city of Sibir thenceforth disappeared off all maps. I became obsessed with trying to find it's whereabouts and/or what happened to it, but no records exist that I can find. That hobby expanded to include all of Siberia. As far as I know, the ruins of the city are still there. I hope to one day save enough money to actually go there and see them. Maybe even drag National Geographic along with me for an article. It remains a relatively unexplored part of history, which is something that always attracts my interest.
