I notice the Ascalonese are bothering you about being in the Landsraad. If there's anything the Ministry of the Exterior can do to help you, like make a statement or something, that's what we're here for.

Well, one of the backbencher peers got in trouble for being in the Hanover Parliment at the same time as sitting in the Senate of Peers in Asacalon, conflict of interests etc. So the Conservatives tried to make the court force me to sit out as well, but my trusty Attorney General pointed out that Ascalon dosn't recognise Shireroth and theres nothing Shireroth does that really interacts with Ascalon so theres no conflict of interest. The Conservatives dropped there case before it could be thrown out :)Thanks anyway Scott

If I may, mi'lady, there are conservatives, and then there are those conservatives who have never heard the term "compromise," and thus want everything their way. I believe Scott may have been directing his comment toward this far more militant group. ~The Solitary Poet of Delvenus

Yeah! Then who would the conservatives be able to discriminate against and try and make us dislike as "un-American"? *Poet kicks Scott again* HEY! STOP KICKING M...oh, yeah. Right, sorry.

Don't worry...that is quite understood. And I don't hate them, I just enjoy mocking them. Ari's entirely right that they're necessary for balance, although only in the same way that Satan is necessary for balance in religion. :P Edited by: Kalir SethanĀ at: 5/21/03 11:52:38 pm

*Notes, perhaps not entirely relevantly, that as long as someone isn't like the ultra-conservatives in his home county, then he is not likely to have any problems with their political affiliation.Well, unless they're a Nazi or something, but he doesn't think Jadie qualifies as one of those, either.*

No I am not an ultra-conservative or a nazi. So you don't have to burn me at the stake or anything. I am not that bad I promise. I am me and I live by my beliefs. I don't let a political party tell me what to believe. I look at an issue and find out the facts about it and then choose my side....now does that sound so bad?? Not saying anything in particular, but it is a general wise rule for conservatives to NOT debate in micronationalism... Especially when micronationalism is full of liberals. *shrugs*I don't debate politics. I don't hide who I am either. That is the way I look at it. I am at a school full of liberals. I have learned to keep my mouth almost completely shut :-p Just a bubbly elf-cat girl who gives out adviceand saves countries
