My plans for the summer, how they affect Shireroth, etc...

You might remember that in one post of mine in Sirimacar, around the time of the rebellion, I mentioned on the side that I've had problems concentrating on things lately... well, I haven't been open about it, but my life has actually been going towards hell lately. I haven't been able to get almost any work done for school or any other facet of my life where I'm responsible for doing... anything. Most of what I've been doing has been worrying about my situation and, during the last few weeks, losing lots of sleep over it. Not to mention not going to school at all. I'm not exactly sure of the cause of this all, but I would diagnose as minor depression caused by age and whatever's going on in my body at this time (all my siblings (three big brothers) have had essentially the same problem, but in a less intense form), combined with something to do every time I feel like deferring some work for later (constant net access) and not living at home (unlike my brothers at this age).Well, last Friday I had a little talk with my parents (a quarter short of two hours), from which I emerged a happier man. I'm not going to go into the details. What's been decided is basically that I'm going to spend the next summer at home and having either no net access at all or only very strictly rationed access. Which, I know, might not sound cool to you since I won't have any time to spend here. However, it does sound cool to me since at least I'll be getting some friggin' sleep! Also, I'll be doing something useful for a change (lord knows I *do* get bored of just sitting in front of my computer or taking long walks after a while, even though there's theoretically an insane amount of things you can do with a computer...) and actually flexing my physical muscles with work.I'll have lots of free time online during the couple next weeks, then I'll be gone. If I do get online time, Shireroth will be among the (very few) places that I will visit as often as possible. Note that this should be seen in contrast with the original plan (which was what I intended to implement until last Friday night), which essentially would have had me online as commonly as before. This means that a few arrangements will have to be made. I'll keep my citizenship in Shireroth for now, but however rightful I felt about "running" for it, that ducal position will have to be forgotten (and JoeWhit can breathe a sigh of relief). I'm not sure if I should keep Straylight around, but assuming that Scott's proposal that all barons should get at least one vote in the Landsraad is not the word of the law, people should not be bothered by existence. I'd like it to be a barony of Brookshire, BTW. As for the future... I'm not yet sure of my net access status after the summer. It really depends on the summer and even the few following weeks. But that's not an issue to worry about today... "I believe they just installed Gentoo Linux."
