We Will Never Forget...

Have the Shirerothians lost their senses...or their memories?Four months ago, Philip Locke started a Communist revolution in Tymaria which was easily defeated. But he said he'd reform, and we believed him.Three months and three weeks ago, Philip Locke, through a web of deceit and intrigue, destroyed the Apollo Fireball and almost provoked an international war. But he said he'd reform, and we believed him.Three months and two weeks ago, Philip Locke deleted all the fora of Tymaria, including the forum of Shireroth. But he said he'd reform, and we believed him.Three months and one week ago, Philip Locke created the Free Territories of Freenesia, which later claimed a Shirerothian ally and neutral state, Delvenus. But he said he'd reform, and we believed him.Three months ago, Philip Locke masterminded the invasions of Amerada and the United Bobbesian Republic, and was only beaten back after heavy warfare. But he said he'd reform, and we believed him.Two weeks ago, Philip Locke unilaterally annexed Delvenus, a claim which he has never given up. He also tried to make this seem like Interland's fault. But he said he'd reform, and we believed him.One week ago, Philip Locke tried to start a revolution in Interland, as well as defame the characters of Julian Starr and Yuri Andropov. But he said he'd reform, and we believed him.Well, MAYBE WE SHOULD STOP BELIEVING HIM!Philip Locke has proven time and time again that he's untrustworthy. The second he gets into a nation he either starts a revolt, prepares for a revolt, tries to destroy it, or subtly harms it in some way. He did it in Tymaria, he did it in Interland, and now anyone with two eyes open can see that he's trying to do it to Shireroth. There was a reason that both Kaisers Mors and Los specifically decreed he should be banned from ever holding citizenship in the Imperial Republic. Scarce does he jump in, taking obvious advantage of the Kaiser's absence, when he's agitating for a reform of the governmental system. He claims to be pro-democracy. Well, four months ago, he claimed to be a Communist. From four months ago to about two months ago he was a fascist. From two months ago to last month he was a sort of monarchist. Up until two weeks ago he was a Communist (who attempted to join Baracao on that basis). A week ago he stated he wasn't interested in politics. And now he's a democrat. Listen, and listen closely: Philip Locke takes whatever position can be best used to destroy the established order and possibly leverage power to himself. He is what one of my friends refers to as a "chaos elemental" - someone who lives to destroy. Right now, he's only harmlessly agitating. But history proves two things: first, that he does not stay in the agitating phase for long, and two, that agitating is never harmless. If Philip Locke believes in democracy, let him join a democratic micronation. If he has his own principles, let him found his own. And if he doesn't care a stitch for democracy and just wants to destroy the country that the Kaisers of old labored so hard to build, for God's sake, don't let him!Are we so blind and forgetful that someone who has almost destroyed Shireroth in the past, someone who is proud of being a terrorist (or, as he puts it, "ex-terrorist"), someone who is virtually identical with evil in micronations can just automatically join us, become a Baron, and continue his nefarious plans unimpeded? If Shireroth is crazy enough to let this situation continue, they DESERVE the fate that will inevitably befall them.REMEMBER 4/11!WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

I'm positive no one has forgotten. However, whether or not his proposed reforms are intended for that purpose or not, it won't matter since there are not going to be any structural changes to Shirerothian government. As opposed to the Kaiser, I do not have unlimited powers and I can't punish someone for crimes that haven't been committed yet. I do fully intend to hold the status quo togethor until Erik returns, and from that point on, he can choose to do what ever he believes to be the correct course of action. So I'm moving on... I'll never forget...As you lay there and watched me...Accepting the end...I knew you were scared...You were strong, I was trying...I gave you my hand...I said "It's okay, let it go, time to leave you...And I'll carry on...The best that I can without you here beside me..."...Let him come take you home...

First, I would like to state for the recrd that the Interland revolution was Starr and Yuri's idea, they just duped me into going along with it and then bailed out.Second, I am not a "democrat" in the sense that Al Gore is, but in the sense that I want democracy. Also, an ideal communism is purely democratic. I do not deny that for a short while I was a fascist, but, well, I dunno, a bad stage, other then that I've always been a Lefty.Third, you are forgetting all of the good things I've done. Ask the Kaiser, he'll tell you that I helpd Strengthen Shireroth, and that was one of the reasons why he was so lenient on me. Also, I am in Shireroth because my nation, or ex-nation is here, and I just want to keep tabs on it. Philip LockeKnight Who Says Oi

I just agreed that all of the bills I just put before the Landsraad should be frozen until Erik returns. Is that not further proof that I am up to nothing nefarious! Also, I am still interested in politics, they just come second to philosophy at the moment. Philip LockeKnight Who Says Oi

Oh for Mithaniel's sake... Locke may be a person that causes trouble, but there is no doubt he is making things more interesting. During times such as these, (which are, by far, some of the most boring months of Micronationalism I have ever seen) only someone with no sense of the big picture would call for him to be booted out. Um, as far as I know, Locke was BANISHED from Tymaria, not executed. He REQUESTED to be executed, and that was denied to him. If I am wrong, please, prove it to me.Locke has not violated his punishment. He has not attempted to rejoin Tymaria... and Shireroth is no longer Tymarian.Furthermore, every time he causes trouble, there is more and more activity. Granted, I can't condone his actions, especially his compliance with the attacks on Tymaria, but I CAN condone his THOUGHTS.Let's face it, there's not enough ignorant people in Shireroth for him to ruin it, which is why Shireroth is still around in the first place. On a personal note, I must say that as a citzen of Delvenus as well, I have never seen so much activity as when Locke tried to stir up trouble recently (or, for that matter, as when he was accused of bombing it earlier). When it comes right down to it, however, what Locke represents is Intelligent Thought. By playing Devil's Advocate, he is pointing out the flaws in our system so that we may fix them. It is by this token that we not only tolerate him, but accept him as our own. It is by the same token that we appreciate people like Demosthenes, because they give us another point of view.Without multiple points of view, the world would not be three-dimensional.And a flat world sucks.Trust me on THAT. Hmm... So he was executed.By no means did I intend to convey the impression that I didn't like him or want him here.I was merely pointing out that he was apparently dead.It doesn't really matter anymore because he's apparently retired for a short time...
