Ducal Decree #5: Leave of Absence(Baronial Decree #1)Since I have finals starting next week, and Christmas is coming up, I have decided to take a leave of absence. I will certainly be gone until the 11th or so of December when my finals will be over, and I may choose to extend this to some time during the holidays.I feel that, though the nation is going through some interesting changes, and I feel activity is pretty high and mostly worthwhile, I am not specifically needed at this time. Nothing has happened in the Landsraad requiring my attention as Praetor since our feudalism shift, which I believe is a result of people getting used to reshuffling themselves into Counties, Baronies, and Duchies. Nothing groundbreaking is happening in Kildare which requires my attention.As a result, I have decided that this is a good opportunity for me to focus more strongly on my studies, which I have somewhat neglected. It is important that I at least pass all of my classes this quarter and that I can feel confident I have put in a good effort. Since I do not feel needed in Shireroth at this time, I feel that time spent here, though enjoyable, is definitely not a wise use of my time and is more distracting than useful. So, I have decided to take a couple of weeks off, at minimum.Bill will be my Emmisary to the Landsraad and may act as Steward here in Kildare until I declare my absence finished. He is not to take any rash actions in my absence, but is simply to maintain Kildare as it is and deal with issues as they come up.
