Hm. Problem with that is the charter wants to make really clear that you can't have one guy commanding another guy's units because then it would be too easy for a country to have everyone post and register units and then go away while one person commands all of them. Which some people have tried to do in the past. The charter says when someone's gone their unit is considered as immobile but defending itself.However, if you want to step in for Ryan in discussing how he defends himself against my subs, I would find that fair. In the future I would probably want to attach some sort of penalty to that, but I won't do it this time because it would look too blatantly self-serving.

well, why not then avoid doing battle with him, till he comes back? i mean, we had to wait for the anticans till yesterday to do battle with them... i might have got off with the first strike on nafticon, but they asked for postponement after that...what about this: you avoid the conflict with Amir.. (since his units aren't gonna be moving anywhere)... then, when he gets back, you can come back to your position at your leisure.. and continue the battle.. you will get the first move. and amir can't continue unless you attack him... Because I don't want to have my fleet tied up forever in some part of Jaris when it could be doing useful stuff! He shouldn't be able to use his absence to escape my righteous vengeance!I'm going to take advantage of my status as judge and just say I sunk two frigates and two transports, which I don't think is excessive. I'll then hold off from any more sub warfare against him until he gets back. If you want to challenge this I'll find some neutral party to judge it, but considering the charter says his unit can be considered disbanded if he goes three days without showing up, I think it's more than fair.

I am back if it at all matters.I assumed a LOA at the MCS would be generally noticed by everyone anyways and that posting it at every forum I visit would be considered spam, let alone a waste of time considering how much we all visit eachothers fora.I can't complain about the judgemental ruling and will simply go with it as casualties of the war.
