i like the new judging policy.... however, like always i do find some sort of uneasines.. its regarding the new star give away policy... what if say for a given day (lets use shirerithin/antican example), people post, but their post is of not a really good quality... does ardy still need to give out a star?? i mean, the point of star was to give to quality.. so. uh... New Judging Policy

I remain a judge.Ardashir Khan (EZBoard login: Osman Shahanshah) is now also a judge. Now there is one judge on each side.If you want to do an action, then refer it to the judge who has the LEAST inclination to support you and see what they say. For example, if you're a Babkhan trying to destroy Shirerithian ships, then refer it to me, since I won't want the ships destroyed and therefore won't approve it unless you're obviously in the right. If you're a Shirerithian or Antican trying to bomb Babkha, refer it to Ardashir. We will also be dividing judging. Every even numbered day, I will be giving out a star to a Babkhan/Karnali/whatever player. Every odd numbered day, Ardashir will be giving out a star to a Shirerithian/Antican/Natopian player. This system will start tomorrow and will ensure both sides get the same amount of stars. If you disagree with one of Ardashir's decisions, appeal it to me and I have the power to change it, though unless it's obviously bad I won't. If you disagree with one of my decisions, post it on the forum along with an explanation of why it's wrong and try to shame me into changing it.Both Ardy and I are available to referee battles. For a completely neutral ref, Graius from Attera is at least sometimes willing to participate and knows his stuff.

If you don't like the policy, propose a better one and I'll consider it. My problem is both that I feel myself tempted to use my star-distributing powers to help my side and don't want to have to worry about it and that even if I do judge fairly I'm afraid if it turns out that I end up giving more to one side or the other I'm open to accusations of favoritism.

just have the stars being given when they are deserved.you give your enemies, ardy gives his enemies... graius or some third party can remain in the neutral zone, who can also give stars...EDIT: further, if you think that one of yours deserves a star, then you can ask directly to ardy and graius (the judging panel) as to why that poster didn't recieve a star for the post in consideration.similarly with ardy, who gets to ask you and graius....other people of the sides can only nominate.
