French virtual nations are pretty closed to other nations around the world BUT we would like, here in Kalésie, to be part of the world micronations. We would like to established contact and maybe friendship with foreign countries. Maybe we would discuss about our nations and try to know each other.(do not hesitate to contact me personnally). As a gift, here is a bottle of mineral water from Aurgès, the capital city from Kalésie. We will be proud to invite you to visit it if you want.Nikko GaluyinForeign Affairs Office of Kalésiecho7dhiver@hotmail.com

Hm... that's an interesting nation. I don't know a word of French, but I glarked from your website that you have a simulated economy... I look forward to knowing more about how it works.Just a couple of hints: Your website is very clean and looks really nice - even when you get down to the HTML code - but it could benefit from some technical fixes. I'm sure you'll get the pages behind those inexistent links up soon enough, especially since you seem to be a rather active community already (I'm not sure if I have an account at Yahoo! or not, but I can tell for sure that I could not find a way to actually read those posts - all I know is the amount of them). Also, some new titles (now pretty much every page on the site is titled "Kinterface2" (is that some obscure HTML editor in KDE 2 that I've never heard of ?)) might be useful, and so would be fixing that email-the-president link (it doesn't work in Mozilla - perhaps it does in IE, but I can't test it).Oh, yeah, I almost forgot... hi, I'm a random person who's not really even a member of this micronation, someone like Scott (the minister of exterior) will get back to you soon. Have fun looking at the forum here, perhaps posting. Do you really believe Project Bluebook revealed EVERYTHING the Army Air Corps knew? Do you know what REALLY happened at Roswell, New Mexico in the late 1940s? Have you even heard about the Men in Black? Do you have any friends who have `missing days'? Do you sleep with your window unlocked?Be seeing you...

Hi AriWe are aware of those technical issues. This site has been uploaded last night because we urgently needed to switch our old fashioned website to a new good looking one.I have no time in the next days to imrpove it but this is a first release that will be seriously upgraded in the coming weeks. For the moment, send me a mail (cho7dhiver@hotmail.com) if you need to talk to the president, I was aware of this issue, and I will fix it urgently tonight.English speaking is ok on our list and we encourage foreign ppl to post comments and start messages in english. We will answer with a great pleasure to foreign visitors!by the way "kinterface2" has nothing to do with KDE...k stand for Kalésie..and interface for...INTERFACE Many thanks for the informations about the site, it will help me to fix all of those issues quicker!

Thank you for contacting Shireroth, Mr. Galuyin. Mmm...mineral water...how did you know that's my favorite? Shireroth currently has no relations with micronations outside the Anglophone world, but we would be very interested in getting to know more about Kalesie and possibly changing that. Do you have AIM?And is there anyone in Shireroth who knows French well? Eoin?

Hi Mr Siskind,I am very happy to see that you are interested by foreign contact.Currently I do not use AIM but messenger. Maybe you are using a messenger compatible AIM client so you can contact me on cho7dhiver@hotmail.com.Remember that we are not in the same time zone (I am from France).Aurgés produced mineral water thanks to the many springs founded during the city growth but we have good old french wine too

Although Monsier Galuyin's English seems impeccable, much like every other French person I've ever met, I perhaps could be of assistance. I speak quite good French, I'd like to believe, I also have Messenger, Scott, as you do not, plus I'm only an hour behind him, as opposed to seven, as with you. Erik: I believe it passed through the Landsraad. Their minister said he was going to get it approved on his end, and I haven't heard back from him yet. If I don't get an answer in another week or two I'll ask him how it turned out.

Berkeley? In the USA? I heard about a famous music university..is it in there?Ok I was off fot the lase couple of days so I did not post any reply.I appreciate the help of your french speaking citizens, that's nice from them.In Kalésie, we have an economic simulation that is pretty much advanced. It allows us to create virtual companies and to develop activities between our nation and foreign nations (most of then are french actually but we have a good contact with a german nation)´. Do you have such kind of economic rules here??We are also implicated into sports. We play a kind of soccer called "Krassfoot" and we are creating a freesbee (disc) game. We are currently writing the referee-program for this sport. Are you into sport in Shireroth?N.

We are currently developing an economic simulation under the leadership of our able Minister of Trade, Austi Scot. If you have any questions about it, I'm sure he'd be willing to answer them.We participate in SuperLeague, which I'm almost sure is a sport of some sort. As you can see, I'm not a very big fan. If Kalesie is interested in joining, I'm sure Mattlore would love to have you.How many online French micronations are there?

Hi Austi,Wouaw, what a message! Thanks for spending time on our website which has to be modified...my president has done a mistake during the last update and we now get javascripts errors. Anyway I'll fix that very soon.I am currently translating our economic text into english but it seems you alreay red it. As you see, we have come common rules but we are able to adapt it to encourage trading with other countries. We have actually develop exchanges with other french nations, so we have found an exchange rate for our moneys. Our money is called the Kalesian pound (livre kalésienne en français).I will check your website to see if I can found rules about your economic system. I am quite sure we could try to start trading between our nations. It is only a matter of time and adaptation.Currently it seems that we have a common point about services companies. I am sure we would look in this direction to start some kind of trading.for the moment I will tell my president to come here and say a big hello to all of you. I have to say that I am very very happy to have such a good feedback from you all. Then we might sign a reognition or peace treaty? We do not have any treaty template in english for the moment but maybe you have one. Would you be interested in?

Hello everybody,I'm Kar Lène, the president of Kalésie.I'm really happy to meet you all today. It's really a pleasure for me to see the warm welcome Mr Galuyin has received from you. But also the fact that many of you can speak french. As Nikko told you, we are very interested in economy and sports among others.I'm sure we will be able to make some business between our two nations. We have lots of things to do in Kalésie, for example we could offer lots of contracts to your web design companies. I hope we will also receive some contracts from Shireroth.Sports would be another good way to interact. We have some plans for some future events and we, of course, will invite you at this occasion. But until our big event, we could start to organise some football match or other match.I have visited your forum but didn't find the rules for football. Can someone give me the link to read them?I would also like to have a race track in Kalésie but it will have to wait some time as our budget doesn't allow us to build it right now.Could you let me know the rules for sport cars in Shireroth?I hope that soon we will sign a treaty between our two nations and start to establish some serious contacts and exchange. But it has already well started with your welcome.Thank you very much.Kar Lène

Howdy, I run the sports around here. The sport we play is Rugby League, I'm not sure if you have heard of it, it may depend on which part of France you are from, but the French do play it and have a local competition as well as a national side. They were once considered one of the big four with Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain but have now dropped off the pace a little internationally. Here are some sites to check out;Intermicronational Rugby League Development BoardAmerican NRL explains the Rugby League rules...Just reply to this thread with whatever questions you have

Hello baroness,Thanks for your welcome. If you want to speak french, you are more than welcome, here or in Kalésie.Dear Mr Devious, I've been on the two sites you told me about. I know rugby but I've not been able to find the rules that explains how this sport is simulated. Could you explain me please.Thank you in advance.

Ah, I use a simulator programme called RLSim.This can be obtained from here. (At the bottom)Each player is given a ranking in attack and defence. All new players start at 1 for each. Everytime your team plays a game they get 1 extra point to be assigned to a player. Everytime your team wins a game you get another extra point to assign. The simulator is quite complex and has been in development for a while, I am not involved in developing it but it is quite an accurate simulator and It is used in a internet fantasy league torny I participate in.
