by Dark Lord Edwin
Greetings to the Imperial Republic of Shireroth,I have been empowered by the Council of the United Baronies to deliver the following declaration on behalf of Treesia in relation to your nationÂ’s claims to the territory of Lac Glacei. ----------------------------------------------------The Eastrising RequestHis lordship the Ard-Baron of the United Baronies, and the Grand Duke of Lac Glacei, Eoin of House Dornan, known otherwise as Zirandorthel the First, does empower this envoy, and grants him his protection against torture, conviction or any other punishments unworthy of an honoured diplomat of his realm. The Ard-Baron requests that the Imperial Republic of Shireroth, under the leadership of Kaiser Wyltheow the First and any future or past Kaisers, relinquishes its professed control of the territory of Lac Glacei, which was lawfully given to us under the Occidental Agreement by the former Grand Duke of Lac Glacei, Ryan Caruso, whose claim to Lac Glacei was recognised by Emperor Jacobus, who is himself considered the authority on the ownership of Lac Glacei. Any other statements on the ownership thereof are just that, statements, with no legal backing. We have no claims on Cognito, and would be pleased to see it remain under Shirerithian ownership. Both the Ard-Baron and the Ard-BaronÂ’s Council stand by this request, and await the reply of the Minister of the Exterior for Shireroth, the Kaiser, the Landsraad, or any combination thereof.Signed,Zirandorthel IArd-BaronBaron Iain de VembriaBaronIoannes HerueusJosh AiriemCouncillors----------------------------------------------I await your official position on the matter, Sirs.Cordially, Edwin GordonHis LordshipÂ’s EnvoyThe United Baronies

It is my understanding that Emperor Jacobus has recognized Lac Glacei a Shirithian territory. Of course i do not claim this as fact, merely my understanding of the situation. I will look into this. I have no custom signature...oh wait...

Yeah, we do. I'll be done with classes by 1 your time this afternoon. Although we really don't have much to talk about, since I think we both agree on this issue.

Ryan claimed it illegally.. Abused his power in the MCS by putting it on the map... (for which I tried to fire him for...)... It never left out ownership. Erik Mortis BrookshireCommoner of Alexandretta

Thus speaks Jacobus

Re: The Westsinking Response------------------------------------------------------------------------It was the Emperor Joseph that yielded Cognito & Lac Glacei to Shireroth. At the time, I was going thru one of my "%^$#U&^%%$&&^(_ BLODY MICRONATIONAL BLABLA. Tymaria had just stabbed Morovia in the back, and I had left in frustration, naming Joe Witt as Emperor Joseph. As Emperor Joseph abdicated without issue, the property should have reverted to the House of Bonaparte-Stuart Kahunamea by the Settlement of New Elba 1817. As I was still lost in a vortex, My nephew Jake (Jacobus II), did his best to maintain our legacy. He briefly held C-LG as a fief of Shireroth. The first thing I saw on my return was the Restoration of Lac Glacei as a Grand Duchy. An Emperor ranks a Grand Duke, so I had no trouble with Ryan moving in. It has always been my intention to not surrender ALL rights forever, but to permit him to hold the territory as a loose fief with which I had no intention of interfering, except to stay a week or so in the winter at my chalet and buy ice cream at a discount.Ryan choose to move to Treesia, which is a wonderful place. As he abandonded the name of Lac Glacei, I was perplexed. It seemed he had made the choice to give up the territory much as Shireroth had earlier.I consider Tressia and Shireroth to be both Civilized Nations where hickogrievanianism has little chance of taking hold. Therefore, I choose to make war on neither of them.I propose a Condominum arrangement whereby Shireroth and Treesia would jointly administer the territory. (Scott remembers the Cocoanut Grove situation.) Ryan would be Grand Duke, and Mr. Beckford would be Governor. As Head of the House of B.S.-Kahunamea I would succeed to the rights of either nation should they withdraw.Let this be a bridge between the Great Nations of Treesia and Shireroth.Jacobus I
