Sheesh, Erik. I can't even get to sleep anymore? I'm still acclimating to my new position and am not sure yet if our two states mutually recognize one another. If that is already the case, we can start working on a Treaty of Friendship. If you wish, you may present a draft, or I may write one to present, modify any terms as desired and then sign the final treaty. So I'm moving on... I'll never forget...As you lay there and watched me...Accepting the end...I knew you were scared...You were strong, I was trying...I gave you my hand...I said "It's okay, let it go, time to leave you...And I'll carry on...The best that I can without you here beside me..."...Let him come take you home...

A treaty similar to the one with the United Baronies found at:pub9.ezboard.com/fshirero...ID=3.topicis a good foundation. You may add anything else you wish to as well. As I gaze into the mirror of Doubt, I see the barrenness of this Life that remains. Yet in Despair we begin to see true light, In weakness we can be strong. Let us draw substance from our shadow...-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Chaocracy of IstvanistanTell me what dreams may come...

I would prefer Article 1 to be rewritten as:"Both parties recognize each other's sovereign and independent status and mutually disavow any act of aggression against the other, including aid to third parties engaged in aggressive action against the other nation."Article 2 shouldn't be a problem, although I shall consult with my government about the terms of extradition.Regarding Article 3, mutual defence agreements are premature since we've only just begun to develop our relationship. I would rather Article 3 allow for requests of aid during a time of war, but the other nation should not necessarily be required to respond with military support. which would then draw it into a war. Also, agreeing to assist automatically in the event of a crisis could contradict Article 4 where each party agrees to stay out of the other's internal affairs. A rewrite like this would be good:"Either party may request aid from the other party in the event of a war or other crisis. Aid may be of a diplomatic, humanitarian, and/or military nature, but neither party is bound to give such aid and neither party may act on behalf of the other in times of war or crisis without the expressed consent of the government of the other."Also, Article 5 should provide a means for withdrawing from the treaty. Perhaps giving five days advance notice when one party is withdrawing from the terms of the treaty.
