There's a History of Shireroth and a History of Menelmacar article, why not one for Alternate Cyberias? It makes sense to me. Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

Didn't know if I should post this here, but as long as the other wiki discussion is taking place here...I've found it hard not to notice that a lot of stuff in, and relating to, the Cyberia category consists of articles that qualify for the "short articles" list. Most of the were posted by the same person, and most of them deal specifically with the projects and friends of Jacobus.I'm trying to reduce some of the unnecessaries, turning pages that just say "see such-and-such-a-page" into redirects. (To be fair, things like that could just result from a lack of familiarity with wiki matters.) But some of the articles which are more substantial, yet still too short, need to be either consolidated together somehow... though how this should be accomplished without mangling the presentation, I don't know. I don't know enough about Cyberian history to know what was actually a historical movement, what was really just a personal project on Jacobus' part, etc.I'm thinking maybe of creating a "History of Alternative Cyberian Projects" article or something. Suggestions?

Have done some condensing, and I'm feelin' good.After working on "History of Alternate Cyberia" (which as it is could probably be merged with "Alternate Cyberia"; the one amounts to a longer version of the other), I also condensed some tiny articles about Cyberian provinces into "Political Geography of Cyberia".I'm wondering if it would be all right to post something in the VCC forum about the changes? They're not directly involved with the articles, but they've been complaining about them, and they might like to know something's being done... and while I'm at it, I could maybe tell them that they're free to balance out the new articles a bit with a different point of view.

Someone give this man a medal for having the patience to deal with all those Jacobian Cyberia articles!

Not ALL of them, I'm sure... but the ones that seemed most glaringly in need of consolidation. Though if I can find others that I think I can rearrange without causing damage, I'll get those too.
