I got an email form the people who host the site.. they said we have gone over the 100meg bandwidth limit for our account. This is bad. They might delete the account. currently, I have no Idea how to work with the site, especially since every time I've tried to access it (and yes, I've tried to access it even from before you sent this) I get that message that says the bandwith has been exceeded.Also, even if I could get to the site, I couldn't do anything, as I have no passwords, no programs to run it, or anything...Nor do I know how to decrease bandwidth... isn't that just the number of people who access the site?So, could someone help me out here too? And if possible, how much web space we are using... also, erik, if you see me online, I'd like to be able to figure some of this stuff out myself... Alright, this problem has been temporarily solved. I created a new site, and pointed all the images to there. However, I think it would be best if we ran a dual-host system here with the sites. If we host all the images for the board on the new site I created, and then host all the images for the site on the old one, then we can push most of the eaten bandwidth over to the new site.Alternatively, we can host half the images on one site and half on the other, and split the bandwidth 50-50.Also, I'm going to try to update the site just a wee bit, so we don't have all these old files making us look inactive. I could use a bit of help on this, so... umm Erik, I believe you're one of the few who actually understands Shirithian time. Could you compile an updated list of Kaisers? I'm going to go scrounge around the Immigration and Naturalization centers to grab people's avatars and titles for the populus page. umm... yeah, evidently they're going to delete shireroth.port5.com if we don't pay sometime... but right now that should be okay, since the other site is working just about as well... but I have the whole file format for the old site on my computer, and we can set it back up as soon as it goes down.In the meanwhile, I've been updating the site and moving things around a lot, and fixing the html pointers... and deleting a bunch of duplicate files, and organizing things into a flow that goes with the layout of the site. Hmm...you ran over your bandwith because you are hosting the pictures off the site...and if you move it...you will just run into the same problem...everytime somebody visits or loads a page or anything on this board, you are taking up the bandwith....
