Shireroth

Shyriath--Have fun this weekend! Sounds wonderful, and a couple of days without a computer is often therapeutic. btw--raccoons like toothpaste as well as food--hide the brushes! Everyone needs to get away for a break, so enjoy yourselves. Shireroth will be waiting for you when you get back.

I will be almost completely unavailable... well, in fact, let's be honest, I'll be COMPLETELY completely unavailable from Thursday night/Friday morning until Monday. The call of the wild has been issued, and I, my mom, and my sister are going forth to answer it in a campground in western Maryland. There shall we establish our humble camp with its tents and its firepit, entertain ourselves with card games, and defend ourselves from the cunning raccoons and their thieving ways.Sadly, I'll also be utterly cut off from computer access; although I got a laptop specifically so I could work on my projects away from home (and especially in cases like this), my mom has decreed that if I had a computer along, I wouldn't be "getting away from it all", and so it must be left behind. (Yeah, this from the woman who insists on lugging along a bunch of air mattresses so we don't have to sleep on the bare ground. Real natural, Mom.)But it shouldn't be all bad. There's a lake with a beach, and my sister and I are smuggling some water guns with us, so there shall be entertainment to be had. And I'm trying to develop a new language so I can write in a diary and no one will understand what I've written unless I want them to, so that'll be something else to occupy me.But I'll find a way to have fun. The wine coolers my mom's bringing along will help me with that.
