Land Trade Proposal

Um, ok, don't shoot me yet. I swear I'm not claiming anything this time. Really. *waves white flag*Ok, basically since the protectorate over Greater Automatica, now Mistikal, needs to be renegotiated, I thought I'd bring up this idea I've had for a while now.Basically, the question of Cognito was never answered by the Kaiser. Regardless, what I'd like to do is trade off a part of Cognito in exchange for the lands of Mistikal. Rename Mistikal whatever you want. I just want to exchange the lands there for an equal portion of the southern shore of Lac Glacei. It makes more sense anyways. Ric can have the Mistikal lands as a blank slate for all the trouble he's gone through with us, and I get all of Lac Glacei united under a single dominion. PLUS - as an added bonus if you act now! - Shireroth keeps Cognito. Hell, I'll even throw off the protectorate treaty and incorporporate the trade as a direct part of Lac Glacei, thus bringing it under the Centerflying Treaty. Shireroth doesn't lose anything by this, and in the end, I drop the protectorate. So if anything, Shireroth is gaining from this proposal. You already know what the lands of Mistikal comprise, so here's a cut-out of the proposed trade. Please consider this proposal seriously.Respectfully,Grand Duke RyanLac Glacei Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. Let me check with my advisors. It sounds tolerable to me.

Imperial Cousin Semisa I,This proposal by Grand Duke Ryan of Lac Glacei is unacceptable to Stormark because under this proposal Lac Glacei unlawfully claims the Seivannavík area which is a part of Stormark's Thanedom of Eesdeheito. The proposal also goes against Shireroth's Foreign Policy, which Lac Glacei is bound to follow under the Centerflying Treaty, for it violates the second article of the Treaty between Shireroth and Stormark. Quote:SECOND, that each recognizes the other as the sole owner of all territory , both physical as imaginary, which they claim

Actually, Harald, by the latest maps you posted to the MCS, that land was shown as reverted to being Lac Glaceian. Hence why it is shown as such in these maps. I updated it according to your own request.See your own post.p100.ezboard.com/fmicrona...=466.topicAs can clearly be seen, Stormark requested this change. Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. I have by mistake submitted an incorrect map to the MCS. I have, however, corrected that matter at the MCS. Stormark has not given the Seivannavík area to Lac Glacei for it may not give away land under the Secession Act of 2005. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the posting of that incorrect map.p100.ezboard.com/fmicrona...=470.topic

So has the Kaiseress been advised enough to make a decision on this yet?I'd like to include this, if it's approved, in the unofficial map update I've gotta do... Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. I am a vandal.

I will approve of the trade as long as Stormark is not offended by the change.

Harald made a boo-boo and posted a cut-out from an old map. So Stormark is getting that little bit of land back. I'm gonna fix both this and that in a quickie update to the map. Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. I am a vandal.

I was thinking the same thing actually. Perhaps that small triangular area could become a free trade zone or something between Lac Glacei and Stormark. Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. I am a vandal.

Excellent. I'll write up a proposal and post it over at Lac Glacei so we don't clutter up the court here. I'll PM you the address when it's up. Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. I am a vandal.
