I just found the title "Knight of the Living Dead" very amusing. Since everything is but an apparition, having nothing to do with good or bad, acceptance or rejection, one may well burst out in laughter. - Longchenpa

Honors
The Babkhans were having way too much fun giving out honors and knightships to people. Right now we have the Silver Star and the Bronze Star and possibly one or two others, which are given for military service to Shireroth or something. We should make something more general, that we can give to foreign heads of state to inflate the titles in their signature lines and the like. After reading the Apocrypha Discordia, I have a suggestion. I think we should create our very own knightly order, the Chivalric Order of the Living Dead* (COLD). We can give it out to people we like, like the Pendronian foreign minister who's been helping relations between our country, and that'll give them the prestige of having a title conferred upon them by a Shirerithian monarch. Or something.Just my suggestion of the day.*a member of the COLD will be referred to, of course, as a Knight of the Living Dead.

I always thought chivalric orders were a bit of gas, weren't we made something-or-other in Ascalon, Scott? ZirandorthelThe Golden DarknessNiirus Tinenetuwar"In order to find his equal, an Irishman is forced to talk to God."-Stephen Braveheart

Re: Honors
1) COLD...no...come on...let's try to be serious at least once...2) We ought to give out honours only if there is true meaning behind it. We shouldn't create an Order just for the hell of it. That implies that we would give out awards just for the hell of it. -Gryphon Avocatio- Lord Governor and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Research and Education, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! - Lover of Llamas "You're intense and driven. Actually, I was thinking that the Silver Star and such are the ones that have meaning, and this one we DO give out just for the hell of it. Since everything is but an apparition, having nothing to do with good or bad, acceptance or rejection, one may well burst out in laughter. - Longchenpa

Re: Honors
Since Anarch is no longer a government title in Yardistan, it is an honourary title. I'm concidering bestowing it on some...certain individuals...
