Yardistani Font

Yes, I made a font for the Yardistani script (aka Yômato). It's kind of worthless to anybody but me, but I did it anyway. You can get it here. It's still pretty incomplete, but it supports both Yardistani and Rantsilastani lettering (i.e. you should be able to take any of either typed inthe past and use this font to see what it looks like in Yomato). There is no punctuation yet, unfortunately. I've spent quite a number of hours on this, so yeah.Okay...off to add this sort of thing to the Wiki HEY EVERYONE! NICK'S GONE! Any particular reason why it sounds like a Japanese battleship? Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. I am a vandal.

I'm curious, but what program did you use to make the font? It would be so cool to have an actual Natopabet font rather than having to hunt and search through symbols in the Microsoft Word "Insert Symbol" box. the Natopabet (kind ugly, ill admit)chancellornate.proboards2...1126731979 His Sovereign Majesty, NathanKing of NatopiaNatopiaForums

I've been working on a conlang for the last few weeks. It would be quite useful to know how to do that.Posted some details of the (as yet unnamed) language here: http://www.cdlinux.netfirms.com/...c.php?t=57 SF-SNEdited by: Stjepan Veliki at: 9/18/05 8:12

and why is it kind of worthless? Because you haven't finished it! There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.

I hate to break it to all of you windows users, but I don't know of any free non-commercial products to create fonts under windows. If any of you happen to have Cygwin with X.org or Xfree86 installed, you can go to fontforge.sourceforge.net/ and get the program I used. It's better than any of the commercial programs I've ever used, but that was a few years ago anyway. But yeah.Check out http://www.shireroth.org/wiki/in...i_Alphabet for more information on the alphabet itselfOh, and the reason the name sounds like Japanese is partially because it is. Long ago, I stole the Yardistani word Yomajj (to read) from the Japanese word yomu. -to is a language related suffix, thus Yomato means literally "written language." HEY EVERYONE! NICK'S GONE! And I coined the acronym "lol". It means laugh out loud. Aren't I innovative? They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

*Downloads the font, because he wants to be able to type in any Shirerithian conlang should the need arise*...Speaking of which, I STILL need to finish my font for Benacian.
