... that a notable part of Apollonian cultural heritage comes from a man who announced not so long ago that he is in love with a bisexual ghost from Nazi Germany inhabiting the body of his boyfriend? I got it! The Necronomicon must obviously be a Mornington Crescent rulebook!

It doesn't matter whether it's true or not really. The fact that he's making those kinds of claims is edifying enough. Wasn't he in prison once, or was that another claim? Zirandorthel I of TreesiaThe Golden DarknessBelde of the Far Reaches.Niirus TinenetuwarLet the fates burn!

This is alllll I have to say on the matter...Quote:Duerme, duerme y sueña a tenerUna vida sin la tentaciónDe delirios, de oro y poderDe juzgar, aunque exista razónLa avaricia es la esclavitudDel alma y de la libertadQue no te bese nunca la envidiaQue no te abracen el odio y el malDuerme, duerme y sueña con serDe tu mejor tesoro el guardián:El amor que yo en ti he volcadoDe eso tienes mucho que darNo te engrandezcas con la riquezaNi te apoques con la pobrezaQue ni la derrota ni el fracaso te impidanVer que mañana otro día seráDuerme, duerme, aquí estaréLas nubes serán tu colchónQue ni el viento ni la brisa te dejenDe acariciar, pues tú eres mi DonDuerme, duerme y sueña a tener... Ooh! Mägo de Oz, one of my favourite bands. This song is called "Duerme", which means "Sleep". It goes to the tune of the old English folk song "Scarborough Faire," though they added some tin whistle and overdriven guitars to it. I will you all the justice of a translation.Quote:Sleep, sleep, and dream to haveA life without temptationOf fantasies, of gold and powerOf judging, although reason exists (Aunque is a weird word, and I'm not sure how it is being used. It doesn't always have a clear english translation. Although probably isn't the best choice here).Avarice is slaveryof the soul and of liberty. That envy never kisses you,That hate and evil never never hug you.Sleep, sleep and dream of beingThe guardian of your best treasure:The love that I have overturned in youYou have much to give from thatDon't agrandise yourself with richnessNor humble yourself to povertyThat neither defeat nor failure impede youSee that tomorrow will be another daySleep, sleep, there I will beThe clouds will be your matressThat neither the wind nor the breeze leaves youOf caressing, you are my Don (a title of respect)Sleep, sleep, and dream to have... -Gryphon Avocatio- Lord Governor and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Research and Education, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! - Lover of Llamas "You're intense and driven. Finisterra is a concept album about the year 2199. From what I have gathered from the introduction in the cd booklet, the third world rises up against the developed world, and they have world war III. The world is all but destroyed. A new order rises up and creates for the surviors what would be a "perfect world," one without violence or revolutions and, the most important, a world without the freedom of thought to create an alternative. Air is rationed, reading is prohibited and sex is (according to the booklet) "practised in a 'clean' and virtual manner." Eventually, there is an uprising. That's what the album is about.Mago does us good and gives an introduction to each song in the booklet...what they have written for duerme is the following (as close as I can translate it): "The same night, Diego Cortés and his comrade assist with the most beautiful moment that human eye's can contemplate: the birth of a peasant's son. She (the mother?) sings him (the baby) this song." So, you're right erik. It is for a child.
