I cannot help but notice that the Elwynn forum is also empty. Mind cluing the rest of us, who supported you in your effort when you claimed up and down that you wanted to be free, of what is going on and why you have had a sudden, complete change of opinion for no readily apparent reason?

Someone deleted Elwynn's forums.

Someone decided to cross the line.

Someone who seemed to be a friend of Elwynn did this for fun.

I am unhappy. Elwynn was my home. Now it's dead, gone, away.

And I assume the one responsible is also the one you've excluded from having a right and claim to Elwynn?

I'm a little confused on exactly what this means. (And have to run off to work now.. gah...)

Also: You okey Ric? I know it's just text, but I kinda sense something amiss. I just want you to know you are still welcome here, and we still care about your well being.

If you don't care, then I'm not going to push the point further. Everything, absolutely everything, can be rebuilt, with the sole exception of the will to rebuild.

Why would someone delete the forums....?

Ric, Elwynn can be rebuilt, and I'm sure we'd all be willing to help. We still have the archives here, which could be reactivated and restored. I have only a few minutes left before work, but know that we are all with you in this, the destruction of a forum is a heinous act. But this is not the end.

If you want, I'm willing to restore the Elwynn archives.

Huh? What? This is kinda surprising, and I mean in a bad way. I confess that I'm not the greatest supporter of independent Elwynn but whoever deleted their forum has clearly crossed the line. So, Ardashir did it? Why?

I share your pain over the loss of the free Elwynn state. While I was not a fan of the means used to accomplish it, I greatly admired your desire for self-determination.

Well, time for an update to my internal rules then, I guess:

When someone asks me to hosts a forum for a micronation I prefer didn't exist, I say no because it's not my businessI do it so it doesn't go to some asshole who doesn't even manage (whether by technical or moral shortcoming) to keep its data up.

I just never picked anywhere is shieroth to build my home... I seem to live in my offices when I'm in Gralus and Nelaga, but I don't really have a chill-out place.

There's Machinaria? Though as a resident of Yardistan I might suggest somewhere on the isle.

Technically, I still live in (and administrate) County Yardistan with the intent of moving it east when I joined Kildare, although the matter was not definitively resolved.

Most of the time, I can be found sleeping or watching baseball (and sometimes both) in my offices in either Shirekeep or Anhira.

Some day this should be addressed..............
