My new flatmate worries me

Here are the shoes he brought in:

He was outside at the time (presumably wearing shoes). That means... he brought 39 shoes. That's almost as many as four tens. And that... smacks me as a bit strange.

Ringworm versus wearing men's shoes, the women will choose wearing men's shoes. But if the village still does human sacrifices, I guess any sort of rational thinking could be out the metaphorical window.
