Why the hell would we want Verac police telling us what to do?

Also, it looks very real life-ish, with all this talk about actual computer crimes and legally binding agreements and sharing sensitive information. It feels like a really slippery slope towards aspects of the hobby we don't want to focus too much on.

My opinion is basically that we'd get nothing out of this for our troubles.

I'm a little worried about the talk of funding, especially A.5:"The exceptional operating costs of the Organisation shall be funded by Grant from the Parties." It doesn't say what kind of funding they're talking about. Micronational currency? REAL currency? Notwithstanding that only Verac would have to worry about standard operating costs, the idea that members might be required to pay if something big happened makes me uneasy.

I'm sure the intentions are good, but on balance, I have to agree that this is something we probably don't want to get involved in.

Incidentally, Verac the micronation got forcifully removed from the MCS map today for 3 months of total inactivity. I guess that kind of cuts this off at the core?

If it would pursue the leadership of Antica, I might be in favor. But the concerns about money and it being too real-lifeish also may be valid.
